Toast isn't evenly toasted. Seems as though some of the elements do not glow as red as others.

I choose this roaster because our other toaster broke. We have other GE appliances and they are made well. This small toaster does not disappoint. It is constructed well and has a nice stainless steel finish which matches our other appliances.
