I agree with the previous person that this product is not meant for people who have curly frizzy hair

I Wish it worked for me

I really wanted this to work. Unfortunately. It did not. I have slightly wavy hair with texture that frizzes easily. I tried all settings. I tried all temperatures. This by no means smoothed the cuticle. I tried my hair 80% wet. 70% wet, 60% wet and dry. I still had frizz and a horrid wet dog smell to my hair. It smelled like it was burning on the lowest temp. I love my Dyson dryer. But this product did not work at all. If you have naturally coarse hair. This may not work for you. I sadly returned it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beyond my expctations

I bought this about a month ago. I have the Airwrap which I love, but there was a learning curve with. This tool was so easy to use straight out the box.
My hair is curly and damaged and reacts to humidity. The Airstrait dries it quickly (18 mins from my taking the towel off my head to putting the tool back in the cupboard). It uses much lower heat and my hair is straight, silky and shiny. It also works remarkably well on dry hair.
Some reviewers said it was heavy or awkward but I have not found that. Also I like the fact that you can put it down on the mat provided and it turns off. Then you just pick it up again and it comes back on. You just have to turn it on and choose the setting one time and that is it until you are finished. Again noticed some reviewers saying that you have to keep turning it on and off which is not the case.
Would highly recommend this tool to anyone that uses a straightener regularly.

Love the product I have all of dyson hair tools and love using them this one probably my favorite since I can now have straight hair with out having dry my hair and then using my dyson straightener. The only reason I went down a star because for how much this product cost I was upset that didn't come with case and stuff like my other dyson tools they came with very nice case and stuff

Leaves our hair dry and frizzy

I was so happy with the airstrait for the first month or so, and then both myself and my partner noticed that our hair looks poofy, dry and brittle after using this. I have long thicker brown hair, and she is blonde with thinner hair. We have tried air drying our hair first and then using it, we have tried different hair products that protect against heat styling, and nothing works. We have tried putting leave in conditioner after and our hair is soo dry and frizzy. We can’t really use this airstrait anymore … i mean who wants to have dry brittle hair all day!! We had been wanting to buy a dyson curler, blowdryer or straighter for years, but didn’t do it. Once i saw the description for the airstrait and i went for it so that we could protect our hair from straightening, but my hair has never looked so damaged. i thought it would be worth it. Really disappointing, and we are not sure what to do with it now.

Best Hair product yet

I have all the Dyson hair products, but I can honestly say this is the best one thus far. It takes my wavy frizzy hair from wet to dry in 30 minutes. I use both settings. I highly recommend it!

I bought this about a month ago & I will never use another product! I have 2C wavy hair & this product smooths/ straightens it seamlessly. Full shower & blow dry/ straighten in less than an hour. such a game changer!

ABSOLUTE GAME CHANGER!

I ordered the Dyson Airstrait immediately after seeing an IG post by Kamie Crawford and I am SO glad I did. I did experience a bit of a learning curve, but that has since passed and I am in love with my Airstrait. My hair is straight and dry in under 20 minutes! I love that it goes into a pause mode when I lay it down momentarily, so convenient to not have items on my counter blowing all over the place.
