Great Product

I own a few Dyson Products, Love my Dyson Air Wrap, so this was defiantly something I Wanted to buy and try. Works wonderful, dries hair quick and it's so easy to use. My only complaint is, why did this not come with a case? Especially for the price I paid. My Air Wrap came with a case, the straighten has a case and so do the hair dryers. So pretty disappointed that I have to buy my own storage case to protect it.

I was hesitant to spend $$$$ for a hair dryer but this dryer is excellent and worth the money! Watch You tube videos about this product to help you decide!

Life changing

I know my title seems exaggerated but I’m not kidding you when I say this is worth every penny. My hair was soaked and it dried and straightened my hair. I have curly hair and I really hated having to do my hair because I needed to blow dry it and straighten after. I have a good straightener. I just felt like it needed more volume. This is going to cut my time in half. This changed the game for me so much. I just wish it came with a case.

My husband bought this for me as a birthday gift. Best gift ever! I have 3B/3C hair and it takes forever to dry it and straighten it. Now I can do it all -- beautifully and easily -- in about 15 minutes. I absolutely love this machine. The only disappointment is that there is no ready-made carry bag for it -- I had to jury-rig one for it from another product. But that is not a big deal at all. I love the Airstrait!

Worth the investment

overall - there are pro’s and con’s but this is the best haircare appliance I have ever owned.
I have been considering buying a dyson product for 2-3 years, but the price point for the product uses never really worked for me - but when I saw the straightener I knew it would be the perfect fit.
long, mid back length, dyed blonde hair, use heat everyday
have used this one time on wet hair and 5 times on dry hair
pro: from wet - shorter time than blow dry + straighten, but more time than either of those individually. from dry - quicker than straightening. super silky hair, can sleep on it without it getting curly or frizzy again - I usually sleep with my hair in a bun and didn’t need to. the cool build into the straightener is so convenient so I won’t have to get my blow dryer out again. Auto off after a short time of not being used - I used to take a pic of my straightener being unplugged everyday, but now I feel a lot less anxiety over burning my house down! lol it is always ready to use - no keeping your straightener on to do a touch up before you leave and forgetting, or waiting for it to heat up again. Love the locking feature.
cons: price, the cool option isn’t as cool as my blow dryer, I am noticing my dry shampoo doesn’t stick as well to my hair but that’s not a problem, I thought it was on the heavier/clunky side at first but I don’t notice it anymore and I have only used it a few times. The plug on the other hand, is EXTREMELY clunky, and there is really no good way to hide it when in use. My hand tends to squeeze this together harder than a straightener so my hands cramp; but this is usually when I should be using the lock button. Getting used to the *slightly* different technique of regular straightening vs the airstrait was a small learning curve but I got it down. There are no hot plates so it doesn’t get the baby hairs and roots as well, and you need to treat it as a blow dryer, not super quick passes of very hot plates, take your time and do a few good and even passes.
Haven’t taken many pictures and you can’t upload videos unless they’re youtube so I took screenshots - I’m obsessed.

I own Dyson home products I had never invested in any product to style my hair. Until this one! It’s worth the money, it does it all in one, honestly it’s the absolute best! Saves me lots of time dueling my hair routine. I won’t live without it, thank you Dyson!!

Not worth it

While it was a decent machine, it does not come with any type of case like the air wrap and at this price point that should be a given, they are trying to sell it separately. This along with value/tech for the price is the ultimate reason I have decided to return it.

Holy Smokes This Thing Works!!! Its MAGIC!

All my life I've had thick, wavy/curly hair. If I wash my hair at night its still wet the next day!! Thats how thick it is. It takes me more than 45 minutes to blow dry straight BUT using my dyson has cut my time down to less than 10 minutes! YES, TEN MINUTES. This thing is magic and if I could give Mr. Dyson a kiss I would!!!
