Perfect Blowout

This is by far my favorite dyson tool. Anyone with wavy or curly hair will love this! I have naturally pretty curly hair and could never achieve a smooth blowout until I bought this. It makes my hair look amazing and gives me that smooth look I’m going for! Perfect for fighting frizz too. Can’t recommend enough.

No heat damage? I don't know...

Let me start by saying that this is a terrific tool. My mother and I have both been using it for a couple of weeks (and I even tried it on my long-haired show dog) and it really does give you smooth, shiny results much faster than you'd get from blowdrying and then flat ironing. However- I find it hard to believe the company claims that it does not cause ANY heat damage. The hair shaft gets hot- very hot- like hard to touch hot- even on the lowest heat setting. And, while I appreciate that there is definitely an advantage to the blowing air over the heated plates of a straightening iron, I'd ask you to consider how this is different than using an air fryer/convection oven to heat food instead of a panini press? Degree for Degree, perhaps the air-fryer is a little gentler, but your food will still burn if you leave it on long enough.
If the company's claims of no heat damage ARE true, I'd like to see the data that supports that.

I could not be happier with the Airstrait! It has cut down drying time and styling time. It does what it advertises and better than I could have hoped for! I love how my hair looks and feels when I’m done. Best hair tool yet!!!

Broke after a few used

Broke while on vacation after only 3 uses. Won’t even turn on. Very disappointed. Will be exchanging but concerned this may be a common issue after seeing several similar reviews. I own multiple Dyson products. This one may sadly be a bust. For the price of this machine the quality is not there.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

“Magic wand”. I own all of the Dyson hair product and the airstrait it’s hands down the very best! I have natural wavy hair and this tool is absolutely a game changer. The tool makes my hair shinny, straight and frizz free. Most importantly it takes no time at all. I also love using it on my dry hair. It takes “one” pass and im good to go.

Best straightener I've ever used

This is an update to a previous review expressing my disappointment after it stopped working after a few uses. BUT support was great, got me a shipping label right away and received a new AirStrait in about 20 days.
This thing works fabulously on my curly, frizzy, kinky gray hair. Hair does not get caught between the plates, and comes out nice and soft instead of fried like traditional straighteners. It's also way easier than a round brush and hair dryer: not as heavy, less contortions, and doesn't leave my face sweaty. I'm also using less product, just a little texturizing creme and finishing spray before using, and a little oil after for sheen and preventing frizz. Can't live without it!

I simply cannot say enough good things about the Dyson Airstrait. I have thick, wavy/frizzy hair and it is an absolute pain to blow dry and style. This product cuts my hair styling time in half, and not to mention my hair is so incredibly shiny and soft after I use it. Over the past month my hair has started feeling healthier and I feel like I can go longer between washes. I would choose this hair tool over any other on the market. Amazingly done Dyson!
