Best straightner I have ever used

I have long thick hair and I am never ever able to get it very straight like when I go to a salon. Very easy to use.

I absolutely love this thing! I have thick wavy hair. I do rough dry my hair with my regular dryer for 2-3 minutes first so it’s mainly damp and not sopping wet. It works quickly and well. My hair was sooo soft and shiny!! I never use any other hair tools anymore!

Awesome concept but does not work for 3b hair

I was so excited when I saw this product and could not wait for it to arrive. It was very light weight but hard to manage due to the air flow vent. It was very difficult to straighten the roots especially if you have thick hair. I had to use my Dyson Corrale to get a sleek look. I first attempted to use it without the Corrale but the more I moved the bigger and frizzed the hair became. I am a firm believer in Dyson but this was a let down for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Needs more development

This was definitely a trial and error machine for me. I have wavy/curly hair and while the airwrap is versatile enough to cater to almost all my needs, while the air straight just keeps my hair healthier from heat. I didn’t like how my ends or my roots appear after using it. The middle shaft of my hair did look smoother and felt so much softer but it took a very long time to get to that point. I think I will stick to my airwrap. I have already returned my airstraight. It was not for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have a Dyson hairdryer and a Dyson Air Wrap but had to try the Airstraight and I’m so glad I did! It does a great job of taking my curly hair out of the shower and making it straight. I sometimes just touch up the ends with my straight iron because the ends tend to look a bit frizzy. But one of the best benefits that I have found is that I am not hot and sweaty doing my hair! Because the heat blows AWAY from my face it keeps me cooler doing my hair.

Wanted to love 💕 it but can’t.

I am a HUGE Dyson fan but I can not get behind this one. It does leave hair straight but the awkward design and weight makes it not friendly. The cumbersome cord is an issue of its own. It does dry hair but it makes it feel limp. If you have the hair dryer or air wrap or the corrale (which in my opine is better because you can take it with you and use it cordless) you can get better results with less frizz. Save your money or spend it on one of the other three I just mentioned. Both the hair dryer and air wrap dry in same time but also have other attachments that you can use when you want more than just straight hair. Trying to style with air straightener is a HUGE mess and waste of time.
Take it from this Dyson freak who has had over 10 + years of experience with them and numerous of different products from hair care to fans.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
