I bought this product because it straightens wet hair. However, I found it awkward to use. It is bigger than most straighteners, but doesn’t open quite as wide as most. It does straighten, but doesn’t do well with slight curves for the hair ends.
I have fine hair. I usually just flat iron the ends. This machine made my hair so straight but nice. It made my hair lay flat against my head making my hair look very limp and thin. I even let my hair stylist use in on me to make sure i wasnt doing anything wrong. Still not good. My daughter has a mountain of thick beautiful hair and it worked well for her. So I am returning it because she didnt want me to spend this much money on her!!
I bought mine a few weeks ago and i absolutely love it. It’s makes my hair so soft and so shiny. Most straightners leave my hair looking dry and not soft. The air straight is worth the money. It is pricey but it’s something that’s going to last for years and also cause so much less damage to your hair over time. It’s super easy to use as well. It also doubles as a hair dryer which is amazing. I have short hair so my hair isn’t long enough to really curl which is why I chose the air straight over the air wrap. 10/10 would buy it again.
I purchased this product after my Dyson hairdryer quit working, which I absolutely loved. I was skeptical at how drying at straightening at the same would work, but it actually does. What I don’t like is how heavy it is - my arm actually gets tired and sore from the weight. I also don’t like that it leaves my hair frizzy, more so than any other styling tool I use. I wish there was an option to turn the dryer off and only straighten. I should have just used the money to purchase another Dyson hairdryer.
I bought, used several times and returned . What I loved: it got my hair straight with out any pulling or tension from a round brush - no hair loss as a result . Quiet , quick . What in didn’t like- I have fine curly hair and usually blow dry with a round brush and get it fairly smooth with volume . With the air straight my hair was too straight , but not smooth and it was impossible to get any curve on the ends. If I could have curled the ends or gotten a bit of bounce I would have kept it . Maybe it’s just not right for hair as curly as mine ? I used all the same hair care products 8 typically use , Oribe
