I straighten my hair dry and Dyson doesn’t work to smoothen my hair to be straight because the air blows the small strands so it doesn’t come out smooth straight. It would be nice if you could design it without blowing the hair out. Straighten the hair smoothly.

“I really like it. It straightens porous hair perfectly. Very easy to use. I like that it works on both wet and dry hair. I wouldn’t call it a drawback, but due to its larger size it doesn’t reach the very roots, leaving about 2–3 cm from the scalp. Personally, that’s fine for me.”

Good product and works best for longer hair. My hair length is to my collarbone, and it works very well to straighten. Based on the design of the dryer/straightener, the air stream starts about 2 inches from the top of the straightener. That is why you dry the roots first! The temperatures are good settings. My volume is decreased using the product, but it provides a different hairstyle look than my normal look. It is just like what you see in the advertisements and videos provides long, straight, sleek hair! It also saves time drying and straightening at once.

Love this. This is the fastest way to straighten and dry my hair now. Using a heat protectant prior to drying really gives it shine. I hope it never breaks down on me.

My daughter had purchased her Dyson Air Straight about a year ago. She has long thick hair. She highly recommended it. So when she came to visit a few weeks ago, I tried it out. My hair is not as long as thick as her hair, but I love the way my hair feels so so soft. There is a little bit of a learning curve in using it. It is also a little bit heavy. I like that I can dry my hair and then kind of set it with the cooler temperature. I like that when I’m drying my hair, but I do not feel like I am pulling it like I would with a regular hairdryer And a round brush. It is designed like a flat iron so I think if you can figure out how to use a flat iron. You will definitely be able to use this. I think the only downside of the Dyson air straight is its price – a bit pricey
