I LOVE the Dyson Airstrait straightener…once I learned how to use it! I watched a lot of YouTube videos to decide if I really wanted to make the investment. At first I didn’t think it was worth the price but only because I wasn’t using it correctly. I didn’t realize I had to close the “plates” as I was running it through my hair LOL.
I have rheumatoid arthritis and using a hairbrush and hairdryer was killing my hands and I needed something that would be kinder to my joints. I also have thick and wavy hair and I used to have run a straightener after blow drying it to get all of wave out. But not anymore.
My hair is now shiny and smooth and it looks so much healthier. My hands don’t hurt and I’m not dripping in sweat from the heat of a hairdryer.
Do yourself a favor, save yourself some time, and get this!!

Love this thing! Growing my hair from short to a shoulder length, and it is in that awful stage where everything sticks out. This tool straightens quickly, tames the wild bits, and is quick quick quick! So glad I found it. Once my hair is the length I want, it will be perfect for daily styling.

Very pricey for a hair care tool. Does work nicely when it decides to work. On my second one as the first went into some mode where it wouldn’t turn on after less then 1 month. Screen said “reset” but even following the Dyson reset instructions, it wouldn’t turn on. Took it to a Dyson service store and they were baffled as well. They gave me a replacement. So far it’s working but will have to wait and see. Has been just about a month since I got the replacement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought the airstrait a few weeks ago and am very happy with this purchase! I already owned the hair dryer and air wrap. I was hesitant to get the airstrait as some reviews said I could achieve the same results with my air wrap. I love the air wrap for curls but it takes more work to achieve a straight look. I feel the airstrait is so easy to use, it is quick and my hair is healthy, smooth and full of shine!

I’m obsessed with my Dyson hair dryer, but was excited to try the Airstraight in hopes of eliminating a step of my hair routine. Sadly I didn’t find the AirStraight to be “the one” for me — it pulled my hair, doesn’t add any curl or volume, doesn’t get the roots straight….just very meh. For this price I couldn’t justify so sadly returned it

I’m so pleased with the ease of use and of the results I’ve achieved with my Dyson Airstrait!
It’s light and totally manageable. Drying my hair with a dryer and round brush, I can receive the same results with my medium-length hair, but the Airstrait is faster and easier, so I don’t “give up” before the styling is complete.
I highly recommend.
