I treated myself to this a few weeks ago. I already have the Dyson AirWrap and love it, but wanted an option for when I wanted to wear my hair straight. My hair is very thick and course, and it takes a long time to blowdry and my mornings are hectic as is. The Airstrait drys my hair super fast, and gives my hair such body. I can touch up my hair after a few days and it looks as if I just styled it. Some have stated it's heavy, but I don't think it's heavy at all. Easy and intuitive to use. No regrets on this purchase!

Not kidding, the airstrait broke the first 20 minutes of me using it. So didn’t get to dry my hair once with it. Awful.

I wish they would have explained that if you don't have long hair it's going to be hot on your neck. It's a great idea, but expensive

Hi there, this is Jenifer with Dyson. If the temperature is too warm for you, please consider another setting. The Airstrait™ features two styling modes: Wet and Dry. There's also a Cool mode to set the style. In Wet mode, you'll find three heat settings of 175-degrees Fahrenheit, 230-degrees Fahrenheit, and 285-degrees Fahrenheit. Dry mode has two heat settings of 250-degrees Fahrenheit or 285-degrees Fahrenheit. There's also a Boost function in the Dry mode for a top up. There are also two speed settings, consisting of low and high flow, and there's a cold shot and root drying mode too, so plenty of options.
