I LOVEEEE the Dyson Airstrait. I have fine medium long hair. I styled my hair completely from wet out of the shower to dry and straight in 7 minutes. This makes my hair stick straight like using a flat iron but it's soft and silky like when using my Dyson hair dryer. My hair also retains more volume and texture than when using a traditional flat iron. I'm super happy with this product!

Have had this for three weeks. Absolutely love it. Really appreciate how smooth it makes my hair. The weather is currently hot and humid. My hair tends to get really frizzy. I gave myself a vegan “keratin” treatment earlier this summer which helps. But this has made a huge difference in keeping it from getting frizzy. I also love how my head does not get as hot as when I use my supersonic and it stays smoother. That says a lot since I noticed a huge improvement when I upgraded to the supersonic. The fact that it turns off when you lay it down is a game changer. I washed my hair this am, it was warm in my bathroom. Typically, the room would have heated up more and my head would have been sweaty when I finished drying. The air strait made it easier and more comfortable. Still smooth despite humidity. It does make hair STRAIGHT. If you want curl or bend , you will need to use something else. I was concerned that my roots would be frizzy due to the way this works. But nope. Really a game changer. It is great on second day and beyond as well. If I used a flat iron to get this effect, I would have lots of split ends. Can get the flat iron look from this without the damage.

Doesn’t work on all hair types. I bought it a month ago. I have all the Dyson products and wanted to add a wet to dry styler. My hair is naturally frizzy and the summer humidity makes it worse. This straightener doesn’t work well as it makes my freshly washed hair limp. I have gone back to using the Dyson hairdryer and Coralle straightener to achieve the look. Save your money if you have curly and frizzy hair, as this doesn’t work. I will give be giving it away to one of my family member who wants it.

Worth every cent. Smartest purchase, especially since I straighten my hair with a process every six months. I spend a lot of money on my hair might as well have the best thing to keep it that way in between. I wish I purchased this as soon as it came out and stop wasting my money on the other flat iron, I’ve tried.

I've been using this straightener for a few weeks. I hemmed and hawed over the purchase given it's price, but when I finally did buy it, I looked at it as an investment in my time. I have really thick hair and even though it is only short-to-medium length, it takes me a long time (20 minutes?) with the round brush/traditional hair dryer to get fully dry. With the Dyson product, I can actually get to fully dry before my arms and resolve are sore. And by the way, it is a little more unwieldy weight-wise and heavy than my everyday hairdryer, but I got used to the shape and how to position it during the passes on my hair. I still have some experimenting to do, especially with products. I couldn't find any recommendations for styling products (either wet or dry), so sometimes my hair looks pretty frizzy when it's fully dried using this machine. I end up adding so much finishing oil (is this what I should be doing?) that my hair looks kinda weighed down (maybe dirty-looking again).
