Great product idea for those of us with fragile hair. Loved that it won't damage hair, but the Airstrait is just too heavy to use comfortably. Had to return it as I just can't see wanting to hold/ use it for any length of time.

It’s not with the pice it dry my hair but does it straighten my hair I used it once and it took a long time to dry my hair but u had to use my hair flat iron to straighten my hair

I have a lot of thin curly long color treated hair with gray roots that I color every 4-6 weeks. I used to do Keratin treatments consistently until the treatments began to damage my hair and cause breakage as my hair turned gray. The Dyson Airstrait (when used properly) has been gentle enough to allow my hair to heal and increased growth. My hair looks and feels as though I have had a Keratin treatment and seems stronger and healthier. I use a heat protectant before styling, weekly hair masks, and serum for moisture and I can’t stress enough how important it is to use the proper method or instructions with the Airstrait otherwise I could see how damage could happen again with improper use. As others have stated, your hair will be very straight similar to the effects of a Keratin treatment but in my case I was very familiar with that style so I am okay with having very straight hair.
