I did like it. It was nice to refresh your hair after it was in the ponytail or high humidity. However, when using it from wet hair after a shower it made my hair very flat and super straight at the ends (even though I did bend it under). It takes all the volume out of your hairstyle. So bc of the price point I couldn’t justify keeping it. Although it does make your hair smooth just very flat at the root.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is easy to use. Definitely a timesaver. However, it leaves my hair frizzy...... Potentially this straightener is not for someone with thick and coarse hair. Not sure, possibly I am doing something wrong.

I’m still not convinced it’s that’s great. I’m going to try it another couple of times but it seems like If you want it really straight you will still need to use a straightener. I also have naturally curly hair though.

The Dyson Airstrait straightener has been a game changer for me. I travel a lot, and used to carry my Dyson blow dryer, along with a straightener, to style my hair. With this, I have one device that does it all. I also use it in dry mode to make my hair look great in between shampooing, and I get a beautiful, straight haired look without a damaging, hot iron straightener

My hair is wavy and the machine does what it says it does, and if all you want is a completely straight and volumeless straightening then this machine is the one for you. However, it took me longer than straightening with the blow dryer alone, it felt a bit heavy and my wrist was sore after I finished straightening, it wasn't unbearable pain but it's something that doesn't happen to me with my other tools. Of course the technology is worth the price, but it seems a bit expensive to do just one thing. Sadly I decided to return it and plan to invest in the Dyson Airwrap.
