I bought this for my daughter and me to share since we each have another Dyson dryer (the Airwrap and the Supersonic). This one is great and so easy to use. We are totally hooked. Our hair looks great on day 1, and even days 2-3. I don't think I will ever get a Brazilian Blowout again. This dryer is amazing! And we can use our other dryers to smooth the ends. It is easy and efficient. (I am thinking about getting a second one so we don't have to trade back and forth.)

At first I wasn't sure because I have super thick curly hair and I saw a bunch of girls with already straight or just wavy hair. The first couple times I tried it I was like no. I almost took it back. It def doesn't get my hair fully straight straight like stick straight but after I got it down and realized I need to be quick while my hair is still wet then I've been using it every time. At first I thought this isn't faster than blowing drying and straightening my hair but it really is I just have to spray my hair again to make it wet cause it'll dry. And then after each layer is dry I always hit it with the dry option on boost. It's good I like it I hope it will make my hair healthier since I'm not using as much heat.

Overall the Airstrait is a good product. I love that I don't need to dry my hair before straightening it. However, it does not straighten my hair as well as a normal straightener. It also leaves my hair slightly frizzy at the top. I still like it, but I debated about returning it. It's also fairly bulky with the cord. I don't feel like my Dyan airwrap or hair dryer is bulky, but this product is.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my Airstrait! I have thick and curly hair and I find it to be unmanageable on the best of days without help. The Airstrait has allowed me to wash my hair and then dry it without it becoming frizzy and unmanageable. The 3 temperature settings are perfect for different situations and I love the the option to hit my hair with a burst of cooler air to set it!
The weight of the Airstrait isn't my favorite feature, but it's manageable and won't keep me from using it!

Could be lighter, box on cord is cumbersome, and cord should swivel at base to prevent cord from getting twisted and tangled.
