Not great for frizzy curly hair.

I just bought this straightener and tried it on my wet hair…yeah it worked but my roots were a little wavy and still moist, probably due to how bulky the device is. I had to blow directly on my roots to straighten out and didn’t like the results. I also wished it had a brush attached. Still getting use to it and will probably try again with semi wet hair, maybe the results will change.

Amazing innovation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Complimentary from Dyson Hair. This was my first dyson hair product and I’m so happy and grateful I received it as a gift. I knew what to expect since I own a dyson vacuum and I am familiar with the high quality and technology this brand provides. The design is beautiful and my hair routine has simplified now down to less than an hour (which is crazy to me because I have A LOT of hair). The results were shinny, smooth hair and I’m obsessed!! My next purchase will be the airwrap for sure

Not good for coarse curly hair

I just bought this straightener and tried it on my wet hair: yes it dried it with less heat, but I had to use my comb placed before the straightener to keep my strands nice and straight as they get dry. Even though, still the strands were not perfectly straight, probably due to the low heat setting ( I used max heat). Wished if this product had a higher heat setting with a comb or even better: a brush attached so the hair would run first through the brush then through the straightener as they do in the salons. :) thanks!

AMAZING FOR THICK HAIR

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was iffy about it at first because I thought it would damage my hair due to it being wet when I straightened it but omg....WOW AMAZING. It took me around 20 mins and my hair feels so strong and straight! It also gave it super good volume! Gifted by Dyson and so GRATEFUL!

My hair has a silky shine and is straight!

This was an expensive impulse buy! However, I often keep my hair straight and thought this would be great as a one step process and I like not having the heat damage to my fine hair. My hair is usually pretty frizzy but this has taken all of that away. The only thing that I haven’t figured out yet is when I finish drying, I put it on the cold setting and do a pass and my hair gets super crazy staticky with that. I’m sure it’s something I need to adjust and it definitely doesn't bother me enough to give less than a 5⭐️ review. I do also like that as I am sectioning my hair or when my kids come in while I am getting ready I can set the machine down and it goes into standby mode. Overall, great design, not too heavy in my hand and easy to use.

A good addition

I have curly coarse hair and have tried all the products to see what works best. While the airwrap wasn’t ideal for my hair type, the supersonic and corrale are amazing. This product works very well at straightening though at the price point I wish it could add some curl or wave. I am still needing to finish my hair with another tool to give it some dimension. It’s not the most versatile product but does a very good job if you’re just looking for something to straighten your hair. I do also have to say, considering the price, it should come with some sort of bag / case. It needs some sort of protection for storing and travel.
