Amazing Blowout

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted by dyson and was so excited to try this product out! i’ve never tried anything like it before and the technology is insane. I’ve struggled to get the blowout and straight look to happen simultaneously and this did the trick!

I didn't like the result

It didn't work with my hair type. I have thin hair, but it is very healthy and shiny. The Dyson Airstrait made my hair dull, looking and feeling dry, like a straw. I tried different speeds and heat, but the result didn't improve. I returned it

Because of the technology, the Airstright provides a smooth, sleek, straight style with no heat damage. Therefore, there isn't a need for excess product, like a leave-in or heat protectant. Excessive product can cause a straw-like texture. We recommend using minimal or no product when using the Dyson Airstrait.

Life Changing - I love it!!!

I have very wavy, curly, thick hair - and lots of it. This thing gives me a professional looking blow out. Once you get your rhythm, it is faster than a normal style process. I like to sometimes incorporate my Airwrap after a couple of Airstrait passes for some curls and it looks so good. Love that there is minimal heat - it seems like magic!

I’m not good with hair styling tools at all and the Airstait is so easy to use that I was able to give myself an almost professional looking blowout on my first try

Time suck -mediocre results-need a flat iron

Product seems effective for salon use or a very small at home population with medium to fine straight shoulder length hair. Wavy or kinky hair or thick hair of any texture... requires a comfy chair, an hour at least to spare, ambidexterity, strong shoulders, and a flat iron to actually finish the style.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a person who suffered with frizziness and unruly hair i can say that i am obsessed with this product! If you are like me who loves her sleep and could use that extra few minutes of nap in the morning instead of using more time and products just to make your hair look presentable then you would love this even more! I used this on my damp hair and within 5 mins my hair is dry and sleek! Complimentary from dyson

It also does not get hot enough
