[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product overall was super cool, complimentary from Dyson Hair. For kinkier textures it gives more of a blow out look and so much of a straighten but it does blow the hair out pretty well, and it would probably work best if you have no dead ends.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Heavy and cumberson, not good for fine,thin hair

If you have a thick head of hair, long , curly this would be great. It is not for fine, thin, straight hair. I really wanted to like this but it is going back. It is heavy and cumbersome. The fuse pack/box is awkward and the unit is heavier due to that. It's larger than a flat iron and heavier than expected. I really wanted to like this as I love my Dyson air purifier, hair dryer and V11 vacuum. I may have been better off with the AirWrap. If there was a way I could use it to get some lift at roots prior to dry straigtening it, I would keep it

Great product

I live in Florida and have very thick wavy hair with a tendency to frizz. This product has been great. It shaves about a half hour off my hair drying time. In the humidity the frizz does start to come back, but is tamed again when I use the dry hair mode. I have followed the recommendation I read in another review, which recommended leave-in conditioner and a serum before drying.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Want your routine to take twice as long?

First off- this thing is HEAVY! It also took double the amount of time to style my hair and I still ended up needing to use my straightener. You have to do veryyy little at a time and if your hair is thick and curly it’s the worst.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical at first about it. I haven’t never bought a Dyson hair product before but have used friends curlers and blow dryers. I normally blow dry and straighten my hair, I get a Brazilian blowout treatment every couple months. This is the best purchase I’ve made for my hair. I am so happy with the outcome, my hair feels like I just came from the salon. I have long thick hair with a wave to it.
I never write reviews on products but I am so happy with the product I had to.

Amazing revolutionary product for frizz

If you have coarse, thick wavy frizzy or any type of difficult hair this product is magical. For fine or easy to manage I am not sure if it's necessary but if you want easy peesy straight shiny hair this is for you. i also love that on the dry setting you can do touch ups. It cuts the time in half and you do not get hot doing it

They Made This Just For Me!

I was ready to take the plunge and buy one of the other Dyson hair styling models when I saw that this had come out. Could this be what I’ve been waiting for all my life? A way to straighten my hair, get rid of the frizzies, and make it shine? I went for it, and I am so thrilled. I have hair that is white, gray, and salt and pepper midway down my back. It’s always been such a problem and I end up looking like Einstein. Once I figured out how to use it, it only takes me about 15 minutes to do my hair. I’ve timed it. I am a senior, and it’s been so well thought out that even I can figure out how to use it easily. My only complaint… And it’s kind of a big one…is that there’s no case. When I travel, I need to put it in that box and carry that around. Kind of a silly way to carry around such a luxury item. I’m hoping they will offer a deep discount to Airstrait owners when they become available.
