Wavy to straight like that!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gifted by Dyson. Someone with naturally wavy hair, who has a hard time getting it straight, I was seriously impressed by this tool. Mostly because it combines drying and straightening in one, but it’s truly effective at silky, smooth, straight hair. I thought it did a great job at taking my damp, wavy hair to a straight finish in roughly 10 minutes. Overall, this will become a key tool in my hair care moving forward!

I have fairly corse, thick, curly/wavy hair. My hair cannot handle a blowout, or least myself and every stylist I have ever had cannot make it work. It’s extremely frizzy and needs a flat iron…. But not with the Airstraight. 😳. I was actually pretty shocked that it worked so well and that I didn’t need a flat iron afterwards. I will say there is a minimal learning curve but if you follow the directions and tutorials you’ll be fine. Between blow drying my hair (no brush, just drying it into a lion’s main) and flat ironing the process could easily take 90 + minutes. With the Airstraight it’s been 45-ish. I’ve only used it 3 times so I’m sure that’ll speed up.

Dyson really surprised me with this one! As a person who constantly dyes her hair, I always try to stay away from the heat or use tools with low heat as much a possible. I have coarse hair, and after 3 passes my hair was silky straight. I love it!! Gifted by Dyson hair.

Took forever for a mediocre result

I have type 2 hair and often let it airdry but I liked the idea of a smoother, shinier result. Unfortunately, this didn't cut it. It took a long time and it was awkward to use- not sure I was even holding it the right direction when I tried to do the back. In the end, it was kind of straight but also looked dry, not shiny as I'd hoped. Returning (sorry!)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good but not really meant for shorter hair

The product does dry and straighten at the same time. I agree with other reviews that it is a slower process than I expected. The temperature only goes up to 285 degrees. There is no way to turn off the fan entirely. The bulk of the design means that it is a bit clumsy with short hair - hard to get close to the scalp to dry and straighten. I’d recommend it for hair past shoulder length.

Straightens hair without heat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair is little bit frizzy, so having it straight was not how I usually style it. But I got new Dyson Airstrait that I new will change my hair! Love it the most because it straightens hair without applying heat, it just works on air flow, which is amazing! Gives great results, from wet to a suoer shiny straight hair. Super simple and safe for using!
