Almost But NOT QUITE

This is a great concept with coanda directional air flow on both top and bottom as opposed to AirWrap smoothing brushes which have coanda only on one side. This dries hair quickly and leaves it smooth and shiny. BUT broomstick straight and no volume at the roots! Who wants to look like that? Every influencer that has posted a video on this tool looks uncharacteristically horrible! As though a bucket of water fell on their heads. Dyson needs to come up with a variation of this tool so it allows hair to have some bend to it. Or as an attachment to the Airwrap! Otherwise it's absolutely not worth it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have super fine hair that is difficult to manage. This product gives me volume with shine. I love it way more than expected. I no longer use my round brush and flat iron. Best product to date! I love it!

It actually works!

I have very thick, coarse, somewhat wavy hair. I have to tame it with a Brazilian blowout to make it manageable. I usually require extensive daily flat ironing to make if look smooth. I was very skeptical about the Airstrait working for me. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find I can style it in the same amount of time it use to take me with a blow dryer and flat iron. (It does take significantly more sectioning of the hair than in the demonstrations for my hair type.)

I will say it got a little heavy after a while but I still loved the end result and it got it done so fast. highly recommend especially if you straighten your hair often.. This was gifted to me by Dyson

I bought my Dyson Airstraight a couple of weeks ago and i love it. It gets my wavy/curly hair straight in no time at all. My hair feels soft and it stays straight even with humidity. No more hair dryer & flat iron routine. The only downside is how expensive it is. Be prepared to pay $$$.

Curly hair gilt

I was excited about purchasing the Airstrait on days I want to straighten my hair. I have natural 3B curls and have been on a healthy hair journey so I thought this product would be perfect to utilize. However, the Airstrait left my hair dry looking and burn. You can also see a crimp look since I have natural curls. I did use different settings and had my hair wet when applying. This product is not for my type of hair and I will be retuning my Airstrait. :(
