Love this device! Dries and straightens my hair within eight minutes. For reference, I have thin, fine and very frizzy medium length hair. Frizz stays away and style remains during extremely humid days. Where was this most of my life?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't believe I was intimidated by this tool. It's so perfect for that blowout look. It handles the drying and the tension. What more could I ask for? I love the cool shot for heatless blowouts. It's so genius and I'm glad I got this complimentary from dysonhair.

Surprised my expectations!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted by Dyson and asked to give my honest review! As a girl with type 4 heat damaged hair, I was a bit skeptical about how this product would work at my roots but it really pleasantly surprised me! It was easy to use, automatically paused after setting it down, and was not a huge hassle to use because I didn’t need to have a brush or comb in my other hand. If I didn’t have to straighten my hair afterwards I would be absolutely sold on this product but I can’t say it’ll be replacing my straightener. Still very glad I was able to try and definitely will use again!

Disappointing

Although the concept is on point it does not get rid of the frizz like a flat iron does and it does not let you round your ends. Although it gets your hair straight as a board, it leaves ZERO body. If you have natural wavy hair and frizzes after a normal blow dry, it will do the same thing however it will be straight-just not smooth.
I would recommend this to a friend!

LOVE IT!

I bought this about a month ago and I really love it. As someone with 3b curls who is not good at doing blowouts for myself, this has been an incredibly helpful tool. Also, I love that I no longer have to both blow dry and then straighten my hair - I can just use this to blow dry saving time and heat damage. I do agree with others that for this price it would have been nice if it came with a case or pouch, and it would have been perfect if the tool could straighten/dry my roots instead of me having dry it before using the tool. Though having the blow dryer function within the tool (with that automatic pause) is very well done and helpful!

The perfect first step in a straightening routine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Dyson Hair tools! I have the blow dryer/diffuser and I’ve always wanted to try the air wrap. I was gifted by Dyson Hair the new airstrait and it’s such an innovative tool! I am so impressed at how well it works considering I started with wet hair! I have naturally curly 3c hair so I was skeptical that this tool would actually work. I am able to achieve sleeker results than a typical blow out using a blow dryer with comb attachment using the airstrait. It’s a great prep for a silk press or stretched natural styling. I had absolutely zero heat damage from incorporating this tool into my straightening routine.

Great if you have thick/ curly hair and are worried about heat damage! Really smoothed out my curls with ease! This product was kindly gifted to me from Dyson Hair

Perfect one tool solution

I was so excited to buy this so I could ditch my flat iron and heat damage and the airstrait did NOT disappoint. My hair comes out smooth and straight with minimal frizz. If you pop on some hair oil after the frizz vanishes completely. My only comment is that I do experience some finger fatigue from holding the barrel closed but it's worth it for 45 min of wet-> dry hair. I have naturally wavy hair and I like the option of bringing ONE tool with me when I travel to style my hair.
