Love it!

I am completely terrible at styling my hair myself, and this is the only tool that has enabled me to achieve a salon-quality blowout with my limited skills. I don’t generally spend a lot of money on my hair, but this is worth it!

I would recommend this to a friend!

Not 100% liking my Dyson Straightener

Dyson's customer service is one of the best, the instructions are clear and the actual straightener is easy to use however I'm not 100% liking it. It seems to dry my hair out more than normal regardless of the product use. Secondly, I haven't been able to figure out how to put a little bend in my hair. Sometimes I don't want it super straight.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing idea.. hard to use

Although I believe the product idea is excellent, its usability presents a significant challenge. Every time I attempt to use it, even at the lowest heat setting, it causes the fuses in my house to blow. As an avid fan of Dyson and an owner of numerous products from their lineup, I must admit that I did not anticipate encountering such difficulties with this particular product.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just love it

This is so much better than a regular straightener. Hair is really smooth and love that it has damage control. Only downside I can think of is it is quite large with the battery pack. hopefully someday they will make a travel one. Highly recommend

Sets off smoke detectors every time

I’m keeping this because it works better than the air styler, but it does set off my smoke detector ever use. I have to use the highest heat setting on wet hair for my type of curl texture and density but it smokes with ZERO product in my hair every time I use it. I have all windows open and a purifier running but it still looks like wildfires were set in the room with the amount of smoke that sits in the air. It’s odd, because it doesn’t smell like burning and it actually took me by surprise the first time, I didn’t notice until I started coughing.

The tool works really well on my 2c dense hair because mine needs tension - something the airwrap lacked. I won’t be returning this one.

Excellent results if you can get past the brick

Love the results, love the buttons and screen. Don’t like the heavy brick near the power plug. I have an air wrap which has a similar brick, but the one on the air wrap is practically weightless compared to the absolute UNIT on the airstrait.

Was extremely hopeful but device would not turn on

I bought this device about two weeks ago and when I received it it would not turn on. I sent it back but am extremely disappointed as I was hoping to take it to my honey moon. Dyson usually is amazing and I truly do love their hair dryer but I can't justify spending this much money for a faulty product right out of production. Will likely not be buying again.

SOLID 10!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted by Dyson Hair with this tool and I'm absolutely OBSESSED!! I'm typically somebody that deals with frizzy-hair... a few passes with this straightener and all the frizzies were gone! The tool is very user-friendly which makes it a aolud 10!
