Ok when it works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shark 2-in-1 Robot vacuum and mop was very beneficial especially for a busy mom here and have no time to clean when getting home. It has a lot of features that make it run smoothly. It detects carpet and hard wood floors. It automatically dispenses dirt into dust bin at base and cleans the mop pad. We have had a couple issues with it. You can’t clean a big spill up, so if you have a pile of ketchup or mustard it will drive straight over it and it will get all over the pad and robot. The other issue is it recently started stalling. We would command it to clean a couple rooms from the app and it will come off the base and then move up and down and do this for awhile before we force dock it. Called support and they really didn’t have an answer.

First off, Shark is the best brand vacuum I've ever used, so im not entirely shocked that I love this so much. Secondly, this looks so cool and fancy in my living room my kids are also in awe and think its incredibly cool! It works amazing at vacuuming and mopping my carpet and wooden floors! It's easy to set up and use the features. It pretty quickly recognized areas i don't want it to go to.

Fantastic features add value to this robot vac mop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First and foremost I also own a Roomba i5+ combo vac and mop. This shark product is FAR superior.
The set up was very easy, basically you plug it in and set up everything in the shark cleaning app. Linking the vacuum to the app was very quick and painless. The initial mapping took about 2.5 hours for the upstairs of my home which consists of 4 rooms, 2 bathrooms and a hallway. It went back to the dock and said it was creating a map. I was a little nervous when I checked the app and it said it still needed to do an explore run, but the second run only took about 20 minutes and then my map was completed. Once the map is completed, you can review rooms, merge or split rooms, and add no go zones! The no go zones is a feature the roomba does not have. The shark was getting caught in the base of a cat tree so it’s SO helpful to just block that off as a no go zone to avoid the struggles.
For the mopping feature, it then goes through the mapped area again and marks out where the rugs in the home are. We have all hardwood floors and rugs in every room and it’s very accurate in its mapping. When it’s time to mop, the shark robot actually lifts up the back with the mop pad do it doesn’t touch the rugs at all while going to the hard floors. Neither of this is a feature the roomba has, and I find this to be awesome!
The fresh water tank can be set up to hold water for a months worth of mopping. The dirty water is kept separate from the clean in another tank. The dust bin can also hold a month’s worth of debris and has an odor control feature on the bin.
Within the app, cleaning can be automatically scheduled by day and time and you can either select cleaning everything at once or doing single rooms. Lots of flexibility in which rooms get cleaned when!
Overall, I’m highly impressed with this product and very much prefer it over my similar Roomba device.

Quiet, smart and easy cleaning!

This innovative robot takes care of the vacuuming AND mopping. This is a total game changer for my apartment. It is so smart and easy to use with the app. I was impressed with how it mapped out my space and cleaned effectively. I also like that you don’t have to empty or refill it after every use. It is super quiet compared to other robot vacuums I’ve seen. I’m excited to have this helper in my home.

Incredibly useful!

Okay but seriously- I was skeptical. I didn't think a robot would be able to compare to a normal mop or broom. I was very wrong!
It does struggle to get close to objects or at the edges of walls, but for the most part, it does the job REALLY well. Even leaves those super nice vacuum lines in the carpet!
The roller is quick to get hair stuck on it so you have to keep an eye on that which kind of defeats the "no-touch" purpose, but it isn't a hassle to clean it.
The vacuum setting is much quieter than a regular vacuum which my cats definitely appreciate! And the mop setting gets the floors SO clean and the cleaner smells nice.
Neither setting takes very long either- our biggest rooms only take around 15 mins for it to clean.
It's really good at sensing things and going around them, but if you have smaller objects on the floor, they will need to be moved.
The fact that you can schedule it to auto-clean on certain days/times is SO USEFUL. I love coming home to clean floors or using it as an alarm knowing that everything is nice and clean when I get up.
Overall, I absolutely love this robot. It's not just a product, he's a member of our family!

Makes my life soooo much easier!!

I previously had an off brand cleaning robot for my floors that would either end up with a tangled brush every 5 minutes or stuck somewhere it shouldn’t be. This vacuum and mop combo from Shark is the best I’ve seen! Firstly, I love that it both vacuums AND mops!! It can detect carpet and avoids those areas while mopping after you use the mapping feature in the easy-to-use accompanying mobile app. You simply fill up mop water , solution, and a scent pod in the housing station for the robot. I love the feature that if the vacuum gets full before finishing, it returns to its base to empty itself and then continues the job!!!! I don’t have to stop every 5 minutes to empty the robot either. I simply empty the dirt from the base once or twice a month. It does a great job at vacuuming, mopping, and not getting stuck on furniture or carpet!!! Added bonus: I was blown away when I realized that the robot even cleans & dries its own mopping pad! I definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants a little more time for themselves not spent doing housework!!!!!!

It cleans super well, and the base cleans the mop with both water and air, it also empties the dustbin, and it refills the tank, so there is minimum maintenance so that is a plus for us, especially on those busy weeks.
And as for the setup, it is easy, connect it to Wi-Fi using the application, fill the tanks and let the robot go to work. And speaking about the app, we can make a lot of different adjustments such as where to clean or not, spot cleaning, set up a schedule, and more.

Our new Shark is super-efficient and useful; I do not think we can go back and use our handheld vacuum the way we use to. We are very happy with our ThermaCharged.
