Thanks to this my house stays clean without having to worry too much, lately I’ve been trying several and none was exactly what I was looking for but this one has the facility to remove its filter and clean it, in addition to the fact that the battery lasts a long time and it stays charging while you don’t use it, the suction is out of this world there is not a single hair left on the floor

It’s the same as always. Doesn’t clean the entire mapped out room. I’ve been through 3 of these. It’s just a nightmare of me wasting my time and energy.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and am very happy with it. I had a previous Vac & Mop from another company and it was ALWAYS tangled with dog hair and was frequently getting lost on its way. The Shark PowerDetect is awesome! It runs longer, goes in straight lines back and forth and the floor is spotless.
I live my robot. This thing picks up the dog hair, particulars I can’t even see until I dump the canister. The mopping is awesome especially for muddy dog paws. I also like how it’s able to map out my first floor in one shot and knows exactly where to go and how to get there. Plus the house in general feels cleaner and is sanitized . Runtime is good and it figures out when to charge itself. Amazing stuff!
I've had this product for a 8 months. I want to like it but it's very flawed.
Problem 1: It Quits before the job is done. It frequently will vacuum a single room then return to its base even tho it was mapped to clean 5 or 6 rooms. No, it's not because the dust bin is full or because th battery is low. It simply does this with no error or explanation. It thinks it did it's job. I don't know if it's navigation issue or what, but it stops after 6 minutes and 68 square feet. (See picture)
Problem 2: The water tank The water tanks are made from very thin and fragile plastic. Why they chose to cut corners here, I'll never understand. My clean water tank developed a crack in one of the corners after sitting in the base for a few months. The base was never moved and it is wasnt cracked when I last refilled it. It simply cracked while sitting in the base.
Problem 3: The Warranty I called support (the automated chat bot is worthless) and was told that the tanks aren't covered by warranty. EVENTUALLY they agreed to replace the item free of charge, but they made me fight for it. However, the tanks are backordered therefore it's my responsibility to call them back and when the tanks are hopefully. back in stock. Side note, the fact that these tanks are back ordered leads me to believe that this is a common issue. My sanitizing robot no longer sanitizes.
Smaller Cons: it thinks my my very thin throw rug is a "cliff" fairly often.
Postives: The suction is good. The mopping was decent enough for in-between jobs. I wouldn't call it sanitization exactly but it's good. The never touch base can genuinely last a month or more without intervention.
Conclusion: Don't buy this model. Wait for the next model which will hopefully be improved, This product gets a lot a right, but they cut corners in some bad places. Therefore it's not worth the price. Instead, buy a standard vacuum without the mop, or seek out a different compan if you love the idea of a 2 in 1.

Hi Jared,
Thanks for taking time to leave your review.
We're disappointed to hear that your Shark PowerDetect Robot has been ending cleaning sessions before completing the selected areas, and that you've also experienced an issue with the clean water tank. From what you've described, the robot may be experiencing a navigation or mapping issue. We recommend ensuring all interior doors are open and removing any obstacles before cleaning. If you've recently moved furniture or relocated the base, please try deleting the existing map in the SharkClean app and remapping your home. We also suggest cleaning the cliff and wall sensors with a dry cloth, as this can help prevent navigation errors. You can find additional guidance via the link below. We truly value your feedback, as it helps us improve both our products and the experience we provide to our customers.
This was a warranty replacement. This one works way better. We have two dogs and a cat, and this definitely helps in keeping our hardwood floors clean between our deep cleanings. We don’t see no where near as much hair on the floor. The mopping keeps the floors looking clean. The runtime is optimal. I’d recommend this one to anyone who has pets or just want to keep their floors looking good between deep cleaningsx
I bought this 6 months ago after debating for months. If I was going to go with another shark. I had one before but it ran over dog poop twice while we were on vacation and it couldn't be saved (had it for 3 years) so I love sharks other vacuums so i went with this one but the brush roller broke a few months in and now there's no replacement. I found a brush roller that works ish but it's not close enough to the floor so the vacuum misses a lot of dirt. I have a very big house and 4 extra large dogs (2 shed) very disappointed in sharks robot vacuum. The mopping feature does work. So that's pretty much all its good for. The most expensive mop I've ever owned. Shark do better with keeping parts in stock.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
