I’ve had this a little less than 2 weeks. I love not having to refill the water tank everyday. Very convenient. After mapping numerous times, it still chooses to miss one room in my house.
Like it mostly! Cannot run it unattended as it seems to just go in circles on the smooth low shag carpets- not stuck with the brush arm but in two different locations in home it just won't get out of the circling motion. But otherwise ok so far.
Happy with this purchase. I bought it last month and haven’t had it a full month yet, but it’s been great. I got a new puppy and was constantly mopping the floors due to wet paw prints all over the floors. I’m still figuring out what needs to be done with it as far as keeping pad clean and emptying bin.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is amazing! The suction is very Powerful for the size. The app is extremely easy to use and the vacuum itself is very durable. The water for the mop feature is very helpful and amazing. Overall great item!
I bought this a week ago during their Christmas sale and so far this has been a game changer. My previous robot vacuums would constantly get stuck and require me to return them to the base every other time it ran. This one has not gotten stuck at all so far which has been amazing. I do have two dogs and it does a great job cleaning up all of their fur as well as any dirt they manage to bring inside. The only downside to the vacuum is that the buttons are touch sensitive and while i am teaching the dogs to leave it alone our puppy is curious and his nose will touch a button and make it shut off or do something else. This has only happened once so far but i do not see anyway to disable the button controls in the app. It would be great if we could disable that or make it so you have to hold down for 5 seconds to activate a button.
This really sucks because I have other Shark products that are amazing and that I absolutely love, but I’ve owned this for about six months now, and honestly, don’t waste your money. The vacuuming is only somewhat decent at best. It misses a lot of dirt and debris, and I usually have to send it over the same area multiple times just to get an okay result. The mopping feature is a joke, it basically just drags water and soap around and calls it “cleaning.” I figured, fine, I’ll just use the scheduling feature and let it kind of clean my floors so I don’t have to deal with it constantly. That plan fell apart fast because the app is absolutely awful, easily one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. It constantly fails to connect, doesn’t communicate with the robot when I send commands, and regularly throws errors like “could not fetch map,” which means I suddenly have zero access to cleaning, mapping, or basically any control over the robot at all. At this point, I’ve had enough. Between the half-hearted cleaning and a completely broken app, this thing has become nothing more than a very expensive decorative piece. I seriously regret not returning it when I had the chance. It’s especially disappointing because I really like other Shark products, but this one is a huge letdown. If you’re actually looking for a reliable self-cleaning vacuum/mop, shop somewhere else or honestly, don’t get one at all. Half the time I feel like I spend more effort trying to get this robot to clean than it would take to just do it myself. Do not recommend.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
