Vacuum won’t push on carpet

Anyone running into issues with the vacuum not pushing on carpet. For example if I’m vacuuming north to south and turn to try and go east to west I can’t push it. Very frustrating and wondering if it’s a defect?

I only wish I was incentivized to review..
I love my new Shark cordless vacuum. More powerful than the other brand I used before, better on carpets, and frankly a little mesmerizing to witness it self empty. A lot of dust and pet hair/irritants in my home this time of year, and the self emptying of the vacuum combined with easy to dump canister every couple weeks, this vacuum has been excellent for keeping down the irritants. Bonus points for the extra measure of maneuverability by letting the stick fold on a hinge for those hard to reach places under the bed and sofa.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It has multiple ways it can be used depending on your vacuum needs. Each change is so easy to make. You can complete small jobs in minutes. The suction on this machine is amazing and also adjustable if you need extra or want eco boost. It also does forward and reverse pickup. Battery life is about 70 minutes. One really cool feature is the auto-empty dock which saves you from having to empty the canister each time. All while keeping the dust inside along with the odor neutralizer technology to keep it smelling great. I would absolutely recommend the Shark Power Detect!

Power detec dust

The suction power, It can detect the level of dirt on the floor because the vacuum cleaner's maneuverability allows me to reach the most difficult places. The battery is long-lasting and I can vacuum my entire house. It has a container with an acceptable capacity to accumulate dust and the noise level of the vacuum cleaner is almost the same as other vacuum cleaners.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start, I was hesitant to get this vacuum since, i regularly clean, I always struggled with the vacuum I had and, I personally thought that this vacuum would be like any other standard vacuum, but I want to say do NOT underestimate this vacuum, this vacuum genuinely made me love cleaning, it has three different modes, a battery saving mode which you won’t even likely need since this vacuum can clean my whole house and more under one charge, the suction power is EXCELLENT. It cleans very well, it’s super easy to handle, and like any other vacuum it’s loud, but not exceedingly loud, you’re able to separate the vacuum in three different modes, one for small cleanups and the other two for far deep cleanings, you can also fold the vacuum to reach hard to reach areas, ESPECIALLY under the bed and the couches, and you don’t even have to worry about moving them. Overall, amazing vacuum 10/10 recommend 100% worth it.

I found the vacuum hard to push over standard carpet and the vacuum head is too small for a large home. I expected more...because I am usually happy with Shark products!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product

She said that it was far more powerful than any of the other vacuums she had had in the past. The battery life was great and it also was not too noisy so my mom and I are both giving this a five out of five!
