So far, so good, I need one of these due to mobility problems from bone and muscle problems. It's a lot easier to use than a traditional vacuum cleaner. I can actually vacuum the entire house using multiflex because it reduces strain on my arm and shoulders. It is a lot more powerful than our Vertex was and I like the easy empty feature. The boost mode is great for stubborn dirt. There are some downsides, it is extremely difficult to use if the carpet nap isn't followed. The big Shark upright vacuum cleaner has lights so you can see when using the attachments, I wish this were available on the cordless models.

Not for homes with multiple shedding dogs.

I bought this vacuum cleaner last October and have had multiple issues with it jamming up with dog hair. I defiantly like the functionality of this vacuum cleaner but not recommend if you own more than 2 corgis or dogs who shed! I have owned lots of shark vacuums in past, and I always have one on standby. I wish I had discovered this issue sooner then later.

I bought this to replace a different Shark Cordless vacuum that was terrible! This thing did the job and Shark came to the rescue w a 50% off discount to purchase it! Recommended!

Great vacuum

I love this vacuum, especially the automatic empty. No more dust clouds. The only thing, the battery, when it's unplugged and in use the charging bolt status stays on like it's still on the charger and i have never had a battery life number to indicate it needs charging. That's very strange to me. This started at day one of purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My wife absolutely loves it. She is a big shark fan and this shark she says is the best she has ever had. She loves the power it has and auto power kicks on when needed all on its own. **********

Perfect for Daily Cleanup!

I've had the power detect clean and empty for almost a month now so I feel I can give it a fair review. Since unboxing and assembling, I have used it every single day, sometimes multiple times a day. For context, I live on a farm, I have horses and a dog. Myself, my Husband, and the dog are in and out of the house multiple times a day to care for the horses and do other farm chores. Hay falls off our clothes, hair falls off the dog, wood shavings, dirt, and God knows what else come off our boots, pants, etc and we need something easy and fast to help keep things clean. Our robot choked daily from the mess we all drag in and eventually just stopped working all together. If you're not familiar with farm life, it's literally impossible without stripping shoes/clothes all off outside before entering the home NOT to drag something dirty inside. If you know, you know.
So far, this vacuum has fit the bill for what we need. Quick and easy cleaning up (think 15 minutes or less). On hardwoods/tile/hard floors, it's great! It's a little weird on the rugs we have. Sometimes it's hard to push on them depending on the rug thickness-this is the reason for giving 4 stars. If you only have carpet, this may not be for you.
I am absolutely in love with the auto empty, and I don't think I would like the vacuum nearly as much without that feature. I also love that you can use it as a hand held to get to smaller, or raised locations and have used it to clean vent covers, window sills, etc.
Now, would I use this as a primary vacuum to do a deep clean on my entire house? No. But for quick daily cleaning so our floors aren't a complete disaster? This vacuum is perfect and it does exactly what I wanted it for with ease.

Overall good but handle

It's a great cordless vacuum. My biggest issue is the handle. My knuckle on my thumb rubs against the canister and gets rubbed raw while vacuuming.
