We've had this about 2 weeks now and it has been great to use all over the house. I'm super impressed how well it does on hardwood floors. It's a little hard to push it on a dirty rub when it's sucking so hard, but not so bad you can't do it. It has done great at sucking up bugs, cleaning the baseboards, and the suction on it is top notch. I am not disappointed at all. I should add the self emptying container was something my husband really wanted, but this was a top notch decision to get. So easy, and maintains the dog smell so well.

I bought this vacuum for Black Friday last year.
I have a large house and was tired of constantly unplugging and replugging my vaccum for each room.
This vacuum, sucks to say the least. If you have pets, do not waste your time. The suction part, gets clogged with pet hair in less the 5 mins of vacuuming. So you constantly have to go empty it even though the bin is NO where near full.
Then my pet hair, Got stuck so I had to manually empty it.. and the tiny little plastic piece holding it together broken in the first month. Parts weren’t even available on the website bc they were out of stock.
Then pet hair gets clogged in the roller brush, OFTEN.
Plus my right tiny roller wheel, also gets pet hair stuck and you have to use tweezers to get it all out.
I also can’t even vacuum my entire house on one charge! Unless you were to go in to lower power mode? Useless..
I have a low pile rug in my living room, and for whatever reason? I can’t seem to push the vacuum across it. Neither than my husband? I tried making sure all the brushes and wheels were clear? They are, still will not let me push across it.
If you have more then 2 bedrooms, a living room and office, don’t bother bc you have to wait for charges to even finish it all..
and pets with hair, I wouldn’t even bother. For the price I would expect it to not get constantly clogged.

I really wanted to like this

I did a ton of research before buying this, and I’ve waited 5 months before writing this to ensure I wasn’t being too hasty. Let’s start with the good- the self empty system is truly amazing. It makes vacuuming so easy, I love that function. Now, let’s get to everything else… I have two pets, that only mildly shed. It cannot keep up with their hair. My previous vacuum that started with the D word was much better at keeping up. There is constantly hair left behind, not fully picked up after I vacuum two to three times in a row. Then, I try to vacuum multiple surfaces, like hardwood floors and carpet stairs- and it overheats. It cannot do both. So, I’m stuck before company comes over with half vacuumed stairs. It’s a very first world problem in the grand scheme of things, but I’m disappointed that I invested so much money in a device that had great claims of its abilities, only to see that it cannot keep up. I’m a loyal Shark/Ninja fan. This one just doesn’t hit the mark.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been using my new Shark cordless vac for about two weeks. My previous was corded. So far I've been very happy with it, love the no cord! We have a dog and it has done well with cleaning up the hair. We have tile and wood floors, it cleans well. My old vacuum didn't clean going backwards and would spit items out because of the tile grout. I haven't had that issue with this one. It's much quieter than what I've had in the past, I expected it not to work as well because it was so quiet, but it works great, it does rev up when it detects more dirt on the floor. The flat attachment has worked well on the couch sides for dog hair. The attachments actually click in instead of just sliding together which is very nice. I really like the auto empty feature, nice spoiling feature. It's hard finding true reviews. I purchased it on my own because my old vac broke, no promotion, no sponsor, just me looking for a good vac.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great product for the price

We purchased this vacuum for several reasons, especially after testing the Dyson equivalent and at a much higher cost, and this model can’t be beat! 1) I was using a typical vacuum (corded) which was heavy and bulky, 2) we wanted our first cordless vacuum (win, with this model), 3) and love the tech built into the system - so cool.
