Great features, can't handle pet hair.

This review is for the pet owners. I loved this vacuum until my German shepard started shedding. The auto empty feature is really nice and it performed well on hard and carpet surfaces. However it absolutely cannot handle the dog hair. It gets stuck in the roller, it clumps in the chamber and is incredibly frustrating. I'm already debating replacing it with a Dyson. If you don't have pets or maybe even short haired pets would be ok, it is great. Otherwise, it can't handle it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not tough enough

This was my replacement due to issues with the first vacuum I had. It doesn’t do well on rugs, my low pile rugs just get vacuumed up as well as any item I’m trying not vacuum up(kids stuff) but it won’t vacuum popcorn. It just doesn’t seem like it’s built tough enough for three kids and two dogs.
It is lightweight and easy to use and charge. Does pick up well if you have no rugs and completely clean floors without kids toys.
The button needs to be pressed twice on both vacuums to turn it on. The head gets stuck if you turn too sharply and needs to be pressed open with your foot.
Both vacuums had the same issues.

I received this to replace a Shark 4000 series that got a crack in the handheld section. the IP3251 is so much better in ease of operation and cleaning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am OCD when it comes to having clean floors. The Shark PowerDetect Cordless Vacuum Clean and Empty System works amazing from day 1. I love cleaning my floors in the dark because the LED lights up everything I can't see.

The best vacuum ever!

I am completely obsessed with this vacuum! I thought I was a Dyson girl until I used this vacuum and now I never want to use anything else! The suction is not even comparable to any other vacuum I’ve used! It’s incredible! I have a GSD (lots and lots of hair) and this vacuum gets rid of it like it’s nothing! I love all the cool features. It’s not very heavy, the noise level is great. I love the light feature and it is very easy to assemble! 20/10 recommend!

Shark - Overall...I would never buy another brand. I had an issue with my 3 year old shark cordless vacuum that wasn't cheap and after a few tips on trying to work out the issue Shark replaced the entire vacuum with a new model at no cost. I wasn't expecting that and honestly made my entire week. Thank you Shark....Great company that cares about their client.
