Poor batter and self cleaning

Convenient but battery power doesn’t get through our whole 2900 sf house that’s all tile. It also does t suck the hair that gets stuck on the forks combing the brush, it has to be removed ever 2-3 vacuums.

So far it definitely picks up the dog hair from my GSD. I found the battery doesn’t really last as long as it says. But once I get the initial cleaning completed within vacuum, I believe daily use will do the job. I am considering a backup battery, but will decide later. I. Like the docking station cleaning after each use. There is know smell like in the other vacuum that has a disposable bag.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Got it about a month ago now, this thing is freaking awesome! .. it's smart , thing knows you are on hard wood vs carpet or a rug, the suction select trigger is nice ... its a great machine

I absolutely love this thing! It’s quick to switch and detect the type of flooring it’s vacuuming! The auto empty feature is great! I had a different Shark auto empty and it was nothing compared to this model. Soooooo happy I upgraded! It does such a great job! And my kids love using it too, BONUS!

Suction is incredible and I never thought I needed the wand that bent so I could access areas under something ... now I use it and appreciate it all the time. We have 3 cats, 1 dog, and a very active wood stove and interior wood pile. Debris is a constant as are clogs with a vacuum cleaner, corded or not. So, of course, this vacuum got clogged, which was no surprise. What was a surprise was how easy it was to clear. I've yet to discover that little luxury in any other vacuum. I know this adjust speed based upon type of surface as well as degree of dirt ... Which is really, really nice ... what I didn't expect was for it to pull me along when doing my carpet. Normal for me is PUSHING the vacuum across carpet which was never fun, especially if the carpet knap was going contrary to the vacuum cleaner. The self clean I didn't need, but now that I have it, it's kinda fun. Always having the vacuum fully charged is definitely a plus, as I wasn't always faithful at plugging the previous one in. The positives for this vacuum are incredible, the only negative I have is that it's heavy. But that's a minor consideration when I weigh all that I gained. I would definitely recommend this unit . As an aside, I tried the cheap route when considering a cordless vacuum to replace my previous Shark upright, as Shark is not inexpensive. Those two attempts went to the dump today. Yes Shark is expensive, at least to me, but the value is there.

I'm on my second unit the first one di died but I didn't have any issue with getting a replacement so that's a plus and it has a few little corks but overall it's not bad

Best Vacuum for People with Pets

The vacuum is amazing! I have two black sister cats who shed like crazy. With my other vacuum (which I loved except for the cat hair issue) I could move side to side and rotate around - it was wonderful. But it would just roll the cat hair into long strips that no matter what I did the vacuum would not pick them up. It drove me crazy. The Shark picks up everything with no issue - I love this vacuum! It makes my life so much easier.
My only negative comments are:
1. it is very heavy - I work out and my right arm was still sore the next day after I used it for the first time; and,
2. No little manual was provided. How to get started was provided. I had to go online to look up information. This may save you money - but for the cost of this vacuum a manual should be provided. Yes, times are changing, everything is online but that doesn't work for everyone - think please about it.
My only negative comments are:

Do yourself a favor and just get a Dyson

I bought the Shark Cordless PowerDetect Clean & Empty System as a replacement for my old Dyson that finally gave up after many years of use. From the reviews I had read I figured that this would be a great cheaper alternative to a new Dyson with similar performance, boy was I wrong. If you have dog that sheds a lot, like a husky, this vacuum is not for you. The dust roller constantly gets clogged at large clumps of dog hair start to accumulate in between the roller and the vacuum rendering the roller useless. The vacuum itself does not do well at vacuuming the hair or dust and it really fail when it comes to vacuuming the rugs sold by ruggables at all. To top it all off, the battery doesn’t last long and I am having to wait hours in between vacuum session to charges just to vacuum a 900sqft
