Nice design, horrible battery life

We choose this vacuum for the design, attachments,battery powered and cleaning container. First few times using the battery life was good (definitley not great), lasted maybe 25-30 minutes. After the first month the battery life is horrible. It last for 10 minutes the most before the battery needs to be charged. If you need a vacuum to do a spot clean here and there this is a decent design (if it was 1/4 of the price). If you want to vacuum the whole room I would suggest looking elsewhere. For the price of this vacuum the battery should last a lot longer then that. As a spot cleaner I would recommend it if it was cheaper but definitley cannot recommend it for a whole room. Stick to corded or find a vacuum with better battery life.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For clarity, this unit offers different runtimes depending on the cleaning mode selected. ECO mode can provide approximately 70 minutes of cleaning time, Standard mode typically runs for about 25 to 40 minutes, Detect mode varies depending on the floor type, and Boost mode offers around 10 to 12 minutes. If your unit is consistently dropping to around 10 minutes outside of Boost mode, this may indicate an issue with the battery or something else affecting performance.

Battery life is not good

I bought this for my wife for Christmas we've only used it maybe 12 times and on a full charge the battery only lasts 15 to 20 minutes.

It picks up debris very very well.

I bought this a couple weeks ago, the dust cup does not empty, the suction is great at picking up debris on the floor but I find it hard to maneuver around so I'm not really all that thrilled with it.j

Severe Disappointment

I hesitate between one and teo stars simply because it’s easy to maneuver and self-cleaning; however I bought this in November for our new apartment—which is only 1-level, about 1100 sq ft—and it works half as well in only four months time. I am now having to go back over the same areas multiple times to get some of the dirt up, picking up pieces big enough to see the vacuum missed, and it won’t clean the whole apartment at one time, has to be recharged. Nothing happened to it. It worked better at first. I have bought nothing but sharks for almost two decades and this may be my last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for pet hair

I ordered this for my mom, who isn't a great online shopper. I've tried it out myself a few times though and it's really great. This is her second Shark vacuum - I encouraged her to go with a cordless model as she was complaining about having the issue of dust and hair being blown around by the motor on her older model (which has held up great to years of daily use) This cordless model is perfect, and the auto feature can be turned off or left on (if it's on it tries to take the corner of my rug lol) The emptying station is SO NICE, and it's simple to use.

I think I bought my about 8 mns ago I think they have upgraded since I bought mine it sure does look like it . Mine doesn’t have the suction like it should . I read reviews about it and now I wish I would have waited till they made a better one . I love shark i have like 4 sharks but im not to happy with the shark detect clean & empty.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My new favorite product!

As usual Shark has exceed my expectation. I love the ease of this product. I have BNB's and it is very easy to take along. It does a great job at cleaning the hard floors as well as the rugs.

I really like this vacuum. The reason for taking a star off is the inability to change the large bristle roller without replacing the whole head.
