Workhorse no doubt

I purchased this about a month ago and have been using multiple times a day as I have a boxer dog who sheds like he's raining here and two English Angora bunny rabbits who produced a lot of wool The Shark PowerDetect Cordless is an absolute workhorse that has completely simplified my cleaning routine. The performance is top-tier, and the Auto-Empty dock is a total game-changer for convenience.
While the power buttons are placed right on the handle—making it easy to accidentally toggle modes while vacuuming—it is a minor quirk rather than a deal-breaker. The speed and suction power are so impressive that I’ve already recommended it to friends and am planning to buy a second one specifically for my basement. The Shark PowerDetect pro outclasses my Dyson V8 in every category that matters. Despite being more affordable, it offers superior suction power and longer battery life for deep cleaning sessions. While Dyson is the bigger name, Shark wins on durability and overall value—Dyson should take notes on how to build a high-performance vacuum that actually lasts.
Performance: the Shark picks up more debris in fewer passes.
Run Time: the Shark last long enough for me to do my whole house and still have battery life left over.
Build Quality: the Shark feels sturdier and handles daily wear and tear better.
Cost-to-Value Ratio: more for money with the Shark

Lots of improvements since my last cordless shark! The floors seem cleaner, the hair doesn't wrap, I do love this vacuum!

I have really tried to like this product.
Best features are charging station and self cleaning .
Boost power is very poorly designed and only gives a boost transitioning from hard floor to carpet.
Does not pick up well on hardwood floors.
I would return this if I could , but waited too late.
SO NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

Perfect vacuum

Best vacuum I’ve ever owned and is nowhere near the cost of its D———— predecessors. Have been using it for a few months now and love the fact that I do not have to get up close and personal with the dirt and debris. It is so easy to maneuver in small spaces and under furniture. It is well made, stores neatly and is always ready to go. It cleans up the whole place and then cleans up itself!
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Auto Empty Debris Canister is a game changer for what I thought was a small debris canister. The debris auto detect sensor works great. The baseboard detector works great.

Disappointed

I own Model: BU3521, and thought I would upgrade to this model to keep in a different area of my home. I love the convenience of no cord and vacuuming every day, so I figured since this had more features and it was more expensive it would be an upgrade. What a disappointment, I wish I had bought another BU3521. It's hard to turn on, it doesn't detect the flooring easily - doesn't pick up when vacuuming in reverse like the description says. When I used the power boost, the charge didn't even last 20 minutes. I didn't save the box, so I don't know how I can return and replace with the other model...Shark, can you assist?
