The size is perfect! What a big screen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade to the Z Fold8 because the size is just right and it expands to a larger screen when you want it. It is a great device for media consumption like watching movies or going on social media. The only thing it needs is to bring back the S pen back. It is light and thin. The crease in the middle is basically gone. It should have made the front screen privacy like the S26 also. I love the form factor of this phone!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose z fold 8 to replace my old z fold 6, this is my 3rd z fold phone I enjoy every bit. But for this z fold 8 its perfect! In my hand the out side screen is big not as skinny as regular z fold. I would say big in & out. And its nice that samsung this something new and different not like other fruit company stay the same old shape generation after generation. Good job keep it up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Fold 8 for the screen, and multi window is what makes it a multimedia beast. I'll have a game running on the bottom half while YouTube plays up top and messages come in alongside it — three things at once, all usable, no swapping back and forth. Unfolded it's big enough that I've stopped reaching for a tablet for movies and shows, and the colors hold up in a dark room or outside. The speakers are louder and fuller than I expected from something this thin, and the fold itself feels solid in hand. Folded, it's still just a normal phone for music and podcasts on the go. One device that covers all of it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had fold 6 and had some difficulty to type on the front screen since it's little narrow. Now fold 8 is smaller but does everything better than fold 6 with wide front screen. It's so light and so easy to type on front screen, also fixed an ssue of mistakenly turning off the phone while unfolding the Phone with my fingers. I haven't tested the camera yet but for my daily use which are mostly checking slack messages and emails, and reviewing design sketches and artworks for game project, this little guy does everything so well. Hands down the best phone I ever had. Congrats Samsung. Hard work is now paying off with folding screen technology, there are so many small improvements in software as well. It makes normal looking so heavy and thick.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is a great phone overall. The design feels premium, the displays are excellent, and I really enjoy having the larger inner screen for multitasking, browsing, watching videos, and getting work done. Performance has been excellent so far, and the Fold form factor makes it much more useful than a traditional phone in many situations. My biggest complaints are the lack of S Pen support and the camera system. For a flagship phone at this price, I would really like to see a better telephoto camera with stronger optical zoom. Samsung has plenty of experience with great zoom cameras on the Ultra series, and I think the Fold deserves similar camera hardware. Besides those two things, I’m very happy with the Z Fold 8. It’s a great device and one of the most versatile phones I’ve used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been waiting for a phone with these proportions for what seems like 15 years. I won't even get into how useful this phone is when unfolded, but for everyday tasks the "passport" ratio is golden. The phone is not top heavy when balanced on one hand like even the entry-level "small" smartphones of today. The Z Fold 8 is a refreshing revelation found in a parted sea of boring and soulless monoliths.
I am a professional photographer and I am very much OK with sacrificing a mediocre 10mp, tiny optics telephoto lens for the existence of this phone. If I really want serious telephoto photography, I will carry my serious gear. But for everyday use, 2-3x digital zoom is more than adequate. Pictures are crisp, processing is tasteful and shutter response is fast, especially with some tweaks from camera assistant.
The battery is already the best I've had in a phone by a far margin. I'm coming from a Galaxy S23 and a Pixel 10 Pro.
Good Lock and some 3rd party Launchers make customizing the phone's granular setting and both screen setups individually thorough and meticulous. There are seemingly infinite styles and ergonomic layouts to choose from. I spent probably 6 hours setting up and tweaking the phone on the first day. I've had it for almost a week now and I have no regrets. I don't even want to go back to tall, slender slab phones. Picking up one of those old phones after a few days with the Z Fold 8 felt comical and primitive. We have evolved as humans and so has our tech.
