No need to carry a tablet anymore

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to purchase the z fold 8 for its wider display. Great for watching videos and as a musician, it is good for displaying music sheets. However, I wished I could still use the phone half folded like the flip models for hands-free selfies or watching videos without needing a support case. The screen to keyboard ratio on the cover screen could be better. The text display still seems a little small even if you adjust the keyboard to a minimal size. Otherwise, pretty design and fits well in the hand

Perfect size for a fold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded from fold 6 to fold 8. I chose the fold 8 due to its new size. Its nore compact and at the same time still gives advantage of the larger screen space. Definitely recommend this for fold fans.

A game changer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose a Galaxy fold 8 because the form factor is a breath of fresh air. I love the fact that the shorter slightly wider aspect ratio fits videos nearly perfectly even when folded. As an engineer myself I appreciate efficiency and the ergonomics combined with the aspect ratio is the best of all worlds. Whether it's scrolling on social media or watching a video it feels right. I've been switching back and forth between my old s24 ultra and this phone and the s24 ultra now feels too long. Definitely not for everyone but the fact that Samsung gives you the option is greatly appreciated. I do not see myself going back to a long slab phone.

Great mini size for best productivity.

It's like a mini passport or booklet, great for everyday phone use to fit in the palm of your hand and fold out to be large enough like a mini tablet for mutiscreen productivity, gaming, or streaming. The intuitive and thoughtful layout that is completely customizable is an added bonus for Android users.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Samsung Z Fold 8 simply because it was different. I've had the Z Fold 4, 5, 6, 7, and the Moto Razr Fold. It was weird when I first started setting it up, but I must say this bad girl is growing on me! I use my phone for a lot of media consumption, whether it's scrolling Instagram, browsing YouTube, reading comics, etc. This phone satisfies all my needs. The battery is still to be determined, but so far, so good! I recommend this phone for sure!

Zfold 5 to Zfold 8

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded to the Z fokd 8 from a Z fold 5. I chose the 8 over the 8 ultra because I walked something a bit smaller than the form factor that I was used to coming from the 5 and it honestly feels like using a device from the future. This phone is much lighter and wider than the fold 5 and I find myself 'flicking' or open to use the inner display much more often than i did on the old phone. Multitasking is simple, for example stock trading with news or search side by side, language learning and taking notes, prompting codex while reviewing docs. I end up using the inner screen now often than my MacBook. Scrolling social media, mobile gaming, and everything is is just a little more fun on this phone. Going back to a tradition phone after this would feel like going back to the stone age.

First Foldable and I don't think I could go back

The new size and aspect ratio is huge game changer. Swapping from the standard candybar style phone to this was interesting, but we'll worth it. The fact that the whole phone can fit in my hand while closed is one of my favorite things and if I need a larger screen, it's just one fold away. The 4:3 aspect ratio of the inside screen is great for videos and even playing games, especially rhythm games! The battery seems to last pretty much as long as the S26U I traded in, so that's great. Some apps need to be updated by their developers, but overall, most apps operate perfectly on this phone. 10/10 would love to see what else Samsung could improve on this phone.
I would recommend this to a friend!
