The Phone I Was Waiting For

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am super happy and surprised with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8. I wanted a foldable, but the form factor in the past didn't fit my needs. But with the Z Fold8, the passport style form factor is perfect!
I can reach everything (top, bottom and sides) easily with my finger and the 3:4 aspect ratio let's me have a wide enough view of content that works perfectly. Even watching video gives that theater feeling with less black bars.
Opening this device let's me feel like I have a mini tablet of a perfect size that I wanted that allows me to be productive. Having multiple apps open, such as Samsung Notes and Gallery, I can drag and drop images where I need them without having to swap between apps.
I also like the practical and creative uses of AI on the device, from Now Brief or the new Now Nudge to Creative Studio and the translation feature. Using Samsung Keyboard helps a lot when I need to translate to another language when needing to chat or comment.
The battery also charges surprisingly fast! Just 15 to 20 minutes gets me where I need to be and I am very, very satisfied.
But again, the form factor is the biggest reason I like the Galaxy Z Fold8 so much. Honestly it makes the phone feel fun and exciting again. I'll be using this as my device, not only for watching content, but also practical productivity in my daily life.

Love the size of the Z Fold 8

The perfect media viewing device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought that I would choose a foldable phone until I saw this one. I thought phones were getting too big and long but I chose to pull the trigger on this one because of its smaller folded size and the bigger screen on the inside for watching videos and doing a lot of things that I would normally use a laptop for. I love that it's the best of both worlds and you don't need to carry around a huge screen all the time but it's there when you need it.

The Z Fold 8 meets that expectation and exceeds it in performance, capability, and ease of use.
From the performance updates to the larger screen and wider food open size, im overly impressed by this product and I know i made the right choice to continue with this brand.

I have used iPhones for the past 15+ years, and I chose the Z Fold 8 after holding it at the store for only 5 seconds.
The folding mechanics are smooth and satisfying! The size is PERFECT! So thin even when closed. 1 hand usability...10/10...2 hand usability...10/10!
Do yourself a favor and get this phone, you will not be disappointed!

The foldable design is what immediately stands out, but what makes this phone so impressive is how well everything comes together. When folded, it feels like a premium smartphone that is comfortable to use, and when opened, the large inner display gives you an entirely different experience.
The displays are bright, sharp, and smooth, making everything from watching videos and browsing the web to multitasking feel fantastic. Having the extra screen space is especially useful when working with multiple apps at once. The ability to quickly transition between the outer and inner screens makes the Fold8 feel incredibly versatile.

Galaxy Z Fold 8 for my wife's bday present

I bought online exclusive color, Pistachio, and she loves not only the color but also the new screen size of the Galaxy Fold.
Everything is improved from previous model and it is a totally new experience using different aspect ratio of the screen.
