Galaxy Z Fold8 Form Factor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first experience with a fold, so while I'm a newbie, I'm learning to love it! I come from the S series phones, but I chose the Z Fold8 because of the form factor. It's the perfect passport size and having the ability to open it up and use it like a mini tablet is bonus! I find myself using the front screen a lot for quick little searches and reading. I am remembering to open it up and use the main screens for watching videos and multi-tasking. My primary use is media consumption and reading. I'm excited to keep on learning more about how to use this phone and look forward to apps to start updating to this form factor (as many don't play nice with its size/shape just yet, but I know fixes will come!).

This is my best phone ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had iPhones and Note phones. Later I had Fold 3, Fold 4 and Fold 5. This is the absolute best phone ever. I chose Fold 8 because it's superb form factor, well crafted software and an incredible experience overall. Also got the Ultra 2 watch and the Buds Pro 4. Cannot be happier. Well done Samsung!

I like the size when is fold like a small notebook

I like the size like a small notebook, and when is unfold like a small tablet, rotate 90 degree.

I chose this phone because I wanted one device that could handle almost everything I do throughout the day, and it has exceeded my expectations. I use it for work, email, video calls, web browsing, messaging, social media, streaming movies and shows, watching sports, gaming, reading, shopping, navigation, taking photos and videos, and managing things around the house.
The large folding display is easily my favorite feature. When opened, it feels like having a small tablet in my pocket and makes multitasking incredibly convenient. I can have multiple apps open at once, respond to messages while browsing, review documents, or watch a video without feeling cramped. When folded, it still works perfectly as a normal phone for quick everyday tasks.
Performance has been excellent, everything feels fast and responsive, and the displays look fantastic. The cameras are also great for both everyday photos and family moments. I especially appreciate how Samsung continues to improve the software experience for the foldable screen instead of simply making a larger phone.
The Z Fold 8 has genuinely reduced how often I need to reach for a tablet or computer. It’s powerful, versatile, and fits extremely well into both my work and personal life. Glad I chose this over the Ultra.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using the new Galaxy Z Fold 8 feels like the first time the foldable concept has been fully realized, stripping away early experimental quirks for a mature experience.The biggest upgrade is the shift in footprint and ergonomics. Moving away from a tall, skinny silhouette, it adopts a shorter, wider, passport-style shape. When folded shut, the outer display finally feels like a normal smartphone. One-handed typing is seamless, and your thumb reaches across the keyboard without strain. The weight distribution is excellent, and the rounded edges offer an incredibly comfortable grip.Opening the device reveals a flawless hinge that folds completely flat, eliminating awkward gaps. Even better, the internal crease is reduced to an absolute minimum. It is practically invisible to the eye and barely noticeable to the touch.This refined passport shape creates a boxier, hyper-optimized aspect ratio for the inner canvas, transforming the reading experience. In fold-out mode, the dimensions mimic a physical paperback book. Text flows naturally without feeling stretched, making reading immersive and organic.Media consumption gets a massive upgrade too. Older models were plagued by huge black bars, but the Fold 8 expands widescreen videos beautifully in landscape mode. The visual real estate is staggering, turning the device into a portable home theater. It is the ultimate daily driver.
