[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the food 8 for the wider front display, honestly I love the new form factor, I upgraded from the fold 7, I almost never used it open since I found the square shape a little redundant
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the devices to move into the future with, I chose the Galaxy Z Fold 8 for myself and my wife. We have used foldable devices in the past, Z Fold 3, 5, 6 and 7. Along with the Z Flip 3 and 7. The Z Fold 8 has been a refreshing device. Something small and compact, like the Z Flip series, but expandable and fully capable like the standard Z Fold series. The device is lightweight, has perfect cameras for every day usage, and comes with solid battery life. There are software adjustments that will come in the future and we are looking forward to future accessories, but the device holds strong. After 24hrs of usage we both agree this is the phone for us going forward. Feels great in the hand and in the pocket. Not to give nothing but praise as there is always room for improvement; however, the honeymoon is still going strong.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's nice fit for my hands, screen is great, speed is excellent, battery life should be 6000mah it's time to bring the same or better features to Samsung lineup, oppo and Huawei phones of this style are way ahead, Samsung should be much bolder then these companies by competing and not taking a back seat to these other companies which have not been around as long as Samsung, to the moon and beyond, let's go 🔥
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Z Fold, because of the form factor change. It's slightly wider than my S24 Ultra. The experience has been wonderful so far. Battery is running efficiently, the ONE UI changes are great. I've reached a point in my life where I've decided I'd rather have a phone with no cameras and be slim, or have these nice cameras and be thick with better batteries and no bump. The bump leads to annoying wobble, especially on a device advertised with Qi2 charging. So then I have to get aftermarket accessories to level it out.... Aaannnnndddd there goes wireless charging... That's the only thing keeping it from a 5/5 review. If we're going thin, let's just go thin, if we're gonna put nice camera's in a device, then get rid of the bump make room for bigger batteries.
But talking to the device I have. It basically vanished in my pocket. It's impossibly light. Consuming media on this device in any capacity and any orientation is excellent. I'm not gonna speak to the speaker orientation, if I care about sound quality, I'll just connect to external speaker devices, and not rely on the onboard audio. Solid device guys. I thought I'd wish it was just as wide, but taller. I don't. I wouldn't be sad if it was taller, but I'm not regretting getting this over the Z Fold Ultra.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got my new z fold 8 for couple days and i love it... been through z series from z fold 2 3 6 and now i just decided to change a little bit.but not to far from my huge screen. And yup. I got the wallet z fold 8. So convinient to carry and hold on 1 hand... better resolution than my z fold 6. Love new design.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a loyal Samsung fan who has upgraded to every new phone each year since the original Galaxy, I can confidently say that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is the absolute best yet! I am so glad I chose this device for my daily routine, from work to streaming and multitasking. The design and performance exceed all expectations. Since Fold 8 set such a high standard, I'm genuinely excited to see how Samsung will top this with next year's updates!
