[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold8 because I wanted a device that could keep up with everything I do, and it has completely impressed me. The Fold8 feels like a major step forward in what a smartphone can be. The large, immersive display is one of my favorite features. Being able to open the phone and have so much screen space makes multitasking incredibly convenient. I can switch between apps, browse the web, watch videos, respond to messages, and handle everyday tasks without feeling restricted by a traditional smartphone screen. The camera system is outstanding, and the AI features take the experience to another level. From enhancing photos to making everyday tasks easier, the intelligent features feel genuinely useful rather than just being extras. Photos look sharp and detailed, and there are so many creative possibilities. Performance has also been excellent. Apps open quickly, multitasking feels smooth, and streaming videos is a great experience. The battery has been able to keep up with my daily routine without constantly having to think about charging. The design is sleek, premium, and incredibly versatile. Whether I am working, browsing, streaming, taking photos, or simply staying connected, the Fold8 gives me the flexibility to do more. It combines the productivity of a larger screen with the convenience of a smartphone, and that combination makes it stand out. Overall, the Galaxy Z Fold8 is more than just an upgrade. It has changed the way I use my phone every day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone is seriously powerful and the perfect size - you are really getting three unique form factors with this product. I chose to use my first Samsung phone in over 12 years (I had a galaxy s3 last!) and I don't regret it. The customization and software are perfect for foldables.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When Samsung announced the Fold8, I was hesitant about the form factor. I previously had a Fold4 but moved back to a slab phone after about a year. I missed having a foldable though for multitasking. I got hands on and was surprised how good this phone felt in the hand and the 8th gen of these phones are so much thinner than my Fold4 was. It was a hard choice, but I chose the Fold8 over the Ultra and I'm really glad I did. Typing on the outer display is great and I don't feel cramped like I did on the taller, more narrow foldable form factor.
The inner display is awesome for consuming content. If you're a manga reader, this screen is perfect for it. Even the outer display is good for a lot of content consumption. That doesn't mean it can't multitask well either. Samsung's software for their Fold line is great. Having two apps side by side feels great on the inner screen on this thing.
Honestly, the only downside is the camera setup. The two that are here are very good. I can get some great photos from this thing. But the lack of a telephoto lens and keeping that exclusive to the Ultra is a shame. It would have been nice to have that on this device, too. Regardless, my overall impressions of this phone are incredibly positive and I think it would be hard to go back to any other phone form factor after this.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After more than 4 years with the Flip which has been my favorite phone of all time this one has taken that spot. The Fold 8 is comfortable to hold, amazing when you open it and has an amazing screen. You dont have to open the phone if you don't want to, and use it fully from the smaller size, something the flip couldn't do. It's a great phone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I switched from a Z Fold 7 mainly for the reason that the top screen is too narrow and also typing on it is hard. The Z Fold 8 fixes those issues but seems not tall enough. I cannot help the feeling that I am missing a lot of information now, and I have to scroll more often. Opening the inner screen helps but only if I flip it, in which case is perfect.
The weight and the pocket-ability of the Z Fold 8 are great and I think that, once I get used with the above, I will love it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wanting a foldable phone for a while, but did not want the candy bar format of the Fold ultra. When this passport style form factor each announced, I was skeptical. Once I saw it on person, and held it in my hands and I knew I had to have it. I chose the Z Fold 8 in lavender, which is a gorgeous color. I love this phone's versatility. Streaming, scrolling, typing, multitasking. This phone does it all well. I love both displays, the colors are vibrant without feeling oversaturated. The battery life so far is very impressive. I'm looking forward to enjoying this device on daily life as well as traveling.
