Invisible Crease in my Pocket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the new Galaxy Fold 8 because of the new form factor. It fits in my pocket fully now without sticking out. Using wider screen is absolutely enlightening!
Wider screens allows my fat fingers to type better reducing typos. Also, new screen ratio makes viewing YouTube videos more immersive.
Longer battery life definitely shows in real life usage. The phone now lasts without charging for a full day in confidence.
This new form factor Fold 8 is a breakthrough product! I highly recommend it.

Near Perfect Fold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been an Android user for over a decade and been loyal to Samsung for nearly that long. After moving on from the S series, I started with the Flip 4, then Fold 7, and now Fold 8 (wide). As much as I love the 7, the height and weight were a bit cumbersome and outside of work, in shorts, khakis, or jeans; well the phone is big and heavy. I love the passport shape of the Fold 8, though a few days in am still getting used to the smaller cover display. I tweaked my custom Niagara Launcher setup so it fits on the screen without scrolling and am taking too it. I was out this weekend and barely noticed it in my shorts. The weight difference feels dramatic and that alone is meaningful. The screen is spectacular, device very snappy even in light performance mode, and I've been very impressed with the battery performance. I chose this phone b/c of Samsung's quality, willingness to experiment, and prior satisfaction with their products and services. If you are coming from a prior Fold, it will take some time to get used to it. That said, I am very pleased with the purchase and know I will depenend on it for work, life, and some fun.

A Foldable That Finally Feels Complete

Samsung has taken everything that made the previous Fold models great and refined it into a device that feels slimmer, more polished, and much more practical for everyday use.
The larger foldable display is the biggest reason I keep coming back to it. Multitasking feels effortless—having two or even three apps open at the same time makes the Fold 8 feel more like a mini tablet that fits in my pocket. Whether I’m checking emails, browsing the web, watching videos, or managing work, that extra screen real estate makes a noticeable difference.
The design is another huge improvement. It feels more premium and comfortable in the hand, while still giving you that satisfying transformation from a regular phone into a beautiful large-screen device. The hinge feels smooth and sturdy, and the overall build quality is exactly what I would expect from a flagship.
Performance is excellent as well. Everything feels fast and responsive, apps open quickly, and switching between tasks is seamless. The cameras also produce excellent photos with plenty of detail, especially in good lighting.
But what really makes the Z Fold 8 special is how well it combines phone and tablet functionality into one device. I no longer feel like I’m carrying a compromise—I’m carrying a phone that can become whatever I need it to be.
After using it, going back to a traditional smartphone feels surprisingly limiting.

I love watching multimedia on this device.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I choose the fold8, because of the design it's easy to watch multimedia and look up document like diagram and electrical wiring on a wider screen.
For quick reference I could just use the front screen, for a larger or bigger pictures I could fold it open for a better understanding on the diagram or schematic.
The size and dimension of the fold8 it's perfect for my pocket. I love it!!!
