Amazing form factor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll start off by saying I previously daily drove a z fold 5. The fold 8 is an improvement in every way. I finally feel like the front screen is a usable standalone device! With this new aspect ratio I choose how to use my phone based on what content I am viewing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Fold 8 for the new size, and it turns out it is perfect. You can watch shows, closed, or opened. You can play games and it doesn 't feel like it's draining the battery so quick. The cameras are amazing!! Favorite phone for sure

The fold that convinced me to switch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded from the s26 ultra to the z fold 8. I chose to upgrade to this model because of the video playback quality and multi-tasking while the screen is open. The phone lacks in the camera department compared to the s26 but generally on a day to day basis, I don't use it as much as the actual screen.

Love the new Fold 8

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to submit this review because I've been with the Fold product line since the beginning. It took 8 models of continuous improvement but feel you hit the pocket on this version. The width improvement is beyond good for me as a large man with big hands. I can finally type freely with less corrections needed! I was initially concerned about the loss of height, but after using it for a week it's really no problem, and is more than made up for with the portability and carry benefits. The hinge and opening features are the best yet, and there's been so many across the board improvements to the app and UI features that in many ways it feels like a whole new product line. Nicely done Samsung!

Feels like the future

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was motivated by the new aspect ratio to finally take the plunge into foldable tech as it finally feels like a mature standard suitable for more than just enthusiasts. The fit and finish are excellent - it's built sturdily and delivers seamless performance (pun intended) apart from a few apps that havent gotten with the foldable program to learn to resize themselves correctly between the inner and outer screen.
Overall I'm happy I chose the 8 over the ultra as every other phone feels way too tall now! With the available promotions I'd definitely recommend it.
