Almost there!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I pre ordered the Galaxy fold 8. I used it for around a week. The phone is great and the fold crease has diminished substantially. The screen quality was amazing and I was surprised by how long the battery lasted. I ended up returning it due to being worried of damaging it and being slightly paranoid about it not being dust resistant or having the inner screen get damaged accidentally. I say its almost there because it is "almost there." The phone is great but not having the best cameras is a big fault in a 1800 dollar phone. None the less I'm sure it will be a great phone for most people. The chose the Ultra 26 as a replacement and am more than happy!

Happily switched from the ZFlip6 to ZFold8

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1. The screen quality is absolutely amazing whether it's in a dark space or in the bright tropical sun I can easily see any media that I'm watching or reading.
2. The crease is barely there and I am extremely satisfied by this especially as someone who had the 3rd-6th flips. This is a major improvement.
3. I barely even noticed the battery life. Outside of social media scrolls I also started reading a lot on it and it lasts most of the day. This was also one of the main reasons I switched to a foldable, so I'm able to multiple task and use it as a reader.
4. Some of my usual apps have not yet been adjusted to the aspect ratios of both screens and that can be annoying but it's something I do see changing in the future and it's not dire issue.
5. Compared to my z-flip 6 this phone doesn't overheat or give heat warnings while charging or when it's outside or in my car on a hot day.
6. I only wish it was advertised a little more as a reader than a easily carried multitasking device. This is definitely personal to me and others who read but maybe there could have been a feature that allowed the screen to present as a matte reader.

Great Foldable Experience, but Missing a Few Flags

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold 8 because it offers a great foldable-phone experience with a premium design, a large immersive display, and strong everyday performance. It is an excellent device overall, and I have enjoyed using it.
I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars. At this price point, I expected every top-tier feature to be included. If it had delivered the full flagship feature set, it would easily have earned a 5-star rating.

I've been a fan of folds but with seam issues in the past I decided to wait for improvements in technology before jumping back into the market. I'm glad I waited and even happier that I chose the Fold8. With bad vision the new aspect ratios are a godsend! Thank you for developing this incredible device and design.

My Z Fold 8

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My phone was freezing and I hadn't plan to buy but after the last frozen glitch it was annoying so after soul searching I chose to buy a new phone.
I waited looked and saw the new ZFold 8, it was in the family of the color I like just wish it was really purple I chose it and here I am.
It is too new to say how well I like it, but so far so good I like it.
