[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had 2 different Zfolds in the past and loved them but wanted something where I didn't have to open it everytime to send a text or send an email. This is exactly it! Almost a full-size screen on the outside and a huge screen when you open it. The absolute best of both worlds. So glad I didn't have to go back to a boring, 'normal' phone. If you're even thinking about it, just do it. You won't be disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can say that I choosed the fold 8 wide sn't just because it's another smartphone. It's a device that can genuinely replace a phone and a tablet. First thing you'll notice is the build quality. Samsung has refined the fold series over the years, and the Fold 8 feels more premium than ever. The hinge is smooth, the phone feels solid, and it's thinner and more comfortable to hold than previous generations. The outer display is great for quick tasks like texting, checking notifications, or browsing the web. But opening it is where it really shines. The large inner display is fantastic for than just one thing like a video. And productivity. Samsung’s software remains one of the biggest strengths. Running multiple apps side by side is seamless, and features like drag and drop between apps make the fold feel more like a small computer than a traditional smartphone. I can go on but I only have 1500 characters LOL

Galaxy Z8 Fold

The folds large screen and keyboard makes sending text and checking emails seamless. I was really interested with the Samsung watch and it's features, which is why I decided to upgrade.

The ideal size and shape for a modern device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Galaxy Z Fold 8 for several weeks now and it is undoubtedly the best phone I have ever had the opportunity to use. The shape, size and weight of it is perfect in every way. The weight and finish gives it that premium feel that makes you sure you're holding a device that has paramount thought and effort put into its composition. Personally, I chose this device because of the form factor initially. The cover screen seemed perfect for reading, either novels or comics, however the aspect ratio and size turned out to be ideal for almost anything conceivable. Gaming, watching videos, looking at pictures etc. I don't see myself moving back to a taller device. The screen real estate is so well utilized that there is little left to want and virtually no applications it is inappropriate for. I've always thought that the mark of a good foldable device is that it is a fully functioning phone that happens to open when you need more space and convenience. The fold eight feels truly like the first device to do this. Just a device with the form factor of the cover screen alone would be far superior to anything in the flagship market today. Howeve,r upon opening the device is apparent that we have reached a new standard of what it means to have a single device for all of our purposes, be that leisure or work.

Very nice, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model has been very good for my use in the couple weeks since it arrived. I like the passport aspect ratio and it's my new preference for phones. The unfolded screen paired with a small bluetooth keyboard work very well if I need to do any actual work without a pc at hand.
However, as always, the inability to easily uninstall some of the software that comes by default is still deeply vexing. I greatly dislike that the bootloader cannot be unlocked and another firmware version installed, and the looming possibility of restricting androids side loading capabilities means that I will have to be watching every single update for a time when I will have to simply stop updating entirely to maintain the way I use my own haddware.
The hinge is great, it closes nicely, and the accessories, a back case and magnetic stand, pair great with it. I am very happy with this phone's quality, and physical features, despite the lack of either an sd tray or a 3.5mm port, however the decisions of both the company and google make me actively concerned that I will have to explore other options when it comes time to replace this phone, and the reality is that that might mean simply changing paradigms to a dumb phone if android software and it's providers are no longer compatible with my needs.

Once You Go Fold, You Can't Go Back!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was using the Galaxy Z Fold7 before and loved the Fold experience so much that I honestly don’t think I can go back to a regular phone anymore. When the Z Fold8 came out, I chose to upgrade because I loved that it felt even more compact and lightweight. I’m so glad I did!
The Fold8 feels great in my hand and is very comfortable to carry around, while still giving me that amazing large screen when I open it. I also absolutely love the color—it’s beautiful and makes the phone look even more stylish and premium. Coming from the Fold7, I was already a big fan of the Fold series, but the Fold8 feels even more refined. I’m very happy with my choice and definitely feel like I chose the right phone!
