[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to give the Fold 8 a chance after trying the Flip 6 and Fold 7. They both had their pluses and negatives but the negatives outweighed the positives for my use case.
The Fold 8 is different. Even just playing with it for the little time I've have after unboxing it and setting up seems like this was the form factor I've been waiting for. The only thing I might miss or not completely enthusiastic about is the cameras. I don't mind dual cameras and losing the telephoto but it would have been nice if they were flagship class but am I willing to compromise it for the weight and better form factor? Yup.
Right now, as long as the battery can hold up to my needs, I truly believe this will be the least compromised daily device to date for my needs. Kudos to Samsung for bringing the Fold 8 to the US market.

<3 Form Factor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the new Samsung Z Fold 8 for the new form factor. It fits in my hand much better than my previous Fold 7 and also two hand typing is also much more ergonomic. I'm not fighting for space to hold it and have less errors typing. It also looks great when I folded and makes a perfect e reader for books. Have not regretted my decision to switch.

It fits in your hand and your pocket very well.
I can use it without open it and allow me to use the current open app with fold open as well as fold closed.

Z Fold 8 is just as good as expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far it's working very good and I like the new form factor but I have only used it one day so far. I chose this model because I wanted something with a better aspect ratio for watching YouTube and this has less black bars than my old z fold 7.

It's both a great phone and a great tablet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my eight Galaxy foldable and it wont be the last. I am happy that I chose the Z fold 8 (wide). New form but same great engineering. This new and first fold wide feels great in my hands when I made or received calls or texts, and to open it wide to enjoy YouTube videos or Netflix movies at times is so rewarding. It's unlike any other device, Android or IOS, phone or tablet, that I have come across and used. Samsung has done it again and again. Keep it up and thank you very much for your vision and customer oriented philosophy.
