Beautiful Quality & Amazing Form Factor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was previously using the s24+. I am beyond happy I chose to upgrade to the z fold 8.
Pros:
-The form factor is impressive. I love the size of the cover screen. And the interior screen is the perfect size for multitasking and media (insta and streaming).
-The lavender is beautiful. I was worried it would be too washed out. But it's this gorgeous purple/pink lavender that leans closer to grey than white in dark lighting.
-The fold itself is impressive. Even with the screen off, I struggle to see a crease. It folds with ease. And there's a limited angle that I'm actually able to slightly open the cover screen and take video calls (zoom) or take pictures — built in kickstand.
-The responsiveness is crisp, the color is vivid, and the brightness is perfect. 3000 nits is more than perfect for seeing the screen in direct FL sunlight.

-The phone can get pretty hott. I recently turned on a setting to prioritize cooling over performance. I haven't noticed a drop in performance. But the device has remained a lot cooler.
-The magnet location (or space for it) doesn't allow the phone to rest comfortably on what I may put there (wireless charger, pop socket).
-The rear camera prevents the phone from resting flat on surfaces.
-It takes just as long as my s24+ to charge. 1hr to a full charge. And about 35mins to 65%.
-Disapointing software glitches right of the box. I know it'll corrected in upcoming updates. But some of these are known bugs. It's very frustrating they'd ship.

Samsung absolutely hit a home run with the new wider form factor. The updated outer display ratio completely fixes the cramped typing experience of earlier generations, making quick replies and one-handed navigation effortless, while the unfolded main screen remains an unmatched canvas for serious work and play.
This phone has seamlessly taken over every corner of my daily routine:
Work & Business: Managing complex web apps, reviewing data, and inspecting site layouts on the go is amazingly smooth. Running multiple apps side-by-side finally feels spacious and practical rather than compromised.
Content Creation: Mobile video editing is where the hardware truly shines. Scrubbing through high-bitrate clips, managing multi-track timelines in CapCut, and handling 360 camera footage on the massive inner display offers desktop-level precision right in your hands.
Media & Audio: Streaming music, managing media setups, and watching video content leverage the incredible screen brightness and rich dual speakers for a top-tier entertainment experience.
Every previous iteration brought incremental upgrades, but the Z Fold 8 feels like the foldable concept fully realized. It is an absolute powerhouse pocket computer that does it all without missing a beat. Beyond awesome!

Great for media consumption and " doom scrolling". Great productivity device. Great multi tasking options.

Best form factor in a fold phone ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very excited to review this amazing phone. I've been a long fan of the Galaxy z fold line, Samsung is very thoughtful with the details of their microphones, their battery and charging, and the quality of their screens. It is my go-to device not only as a regular phone but also for work and for entertainment purposes. I essentially have no need to travel with the tablet because of this device. I chose the wider format of the z-fold 8 this time instead of the ultra because of the revised dimensions. It's a phone that fits in my pocket more elegantly, with beautifully thin lines and minimal weight in my hand. It is particularly useful as an e-reader as well as for viewing images. When unfolded, it is an excellent way of consuming media, both gaming and video. The Smart switch software service is exceptionally simple in its implementation, maintaining my file structure and porting all my critical documents in my same organizational structure. I couldn't be happier.

I've had all the other galaxy fold models along the way at comma and while i've liked them comma their aspect ratio never really made a ton of sense. The z fold eight is the first device that actually makes sense comma it's small.And compact, easy to carry, and it still has just as big a screen.When you open it up
