Super thin and light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a ZFlip owner since they first came out, getting a new version every year with the incredible trade-in program. I always wanted a Fold but was turned off by the unit's weight. I chose the Fold 8 over the ultra for that very reason.
I couldn't be more pleased! Great Samsung quality and user experience that you expect, in a micro sized foldable. It fits nicely in a pocket without bulk.
The front screen is quite the upgrade from my old flip front screen as well.

First Foldable Z8

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 8 generations, I think Samsung has nailed it. My first Foldable just feels right the moment I hold it in my hand & the unfold it. Coming from Pixel, the transition is smooth. Everything seems bigger easier to use on z8, yet one can fold it in half & fit easily in the pocket. I've yet to explore all the new features, but I'll miss the camera on my Pixel, but I don't use it much anyway. The other issue is the mount accessories on my bike & car, the existing mounts don't fit, will need a other round of upgrade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went to check out a display model of the Fold 8 and the Fold 8 Ultra. After 10 minutes with the devices, I chose the Z Fold 8. The new form factor is something that feels so right. There's more room to use the phone in landscape on the cover screen, and the inner display has a better distinction between portrait and landscape. The crease is now almost completely gone. It's just what I never knew I needed, and I love it.

The best of all combinations!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a wide variety of cell phones of many different shapes and sizes. Different sizes have strengths and weaknesses based on the users' preference.
Big phones have strengths in that they have a lot of screen real estate. But not everyone is comfortable holding a large phone for a long period of time.
Smaller phones are compact and easy to carry, but may not be ideal for doing prolonged productivity tasks.
I chose the Samsung Z Fold 8 after trying it hands on in retail store. I was amazed at its lightness, compact size, thinness, and bright screen.
I understood that this could be a device that I could be productive with, and still enjoy the experience when I needed some downtime.
It's usage flexibility is amazing.
It is great for reading while in portrait mode, great for gaming and watching movies in landscape mode, and fantastic as a communication device on the outside screen when closed!
This is a fantastic device! I plan to get as much usage out of it as I can.

A great new form factor for the samsung family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Fold 8 for the new form factor design. Unfolded it becomes the perfect mini tablet. Websites and apps look perfect with the screen size and aspect ratio. The main front display is perfect for any task i need to get done quickly. The keyboard on the main display in my opinion is perfect for me and takes me back to the BlackBerry phone days. The cameras are very good and will give you clear and plenty of detail in any pictures day or night. Hardware performance and battery life have been great so far with the bonus of the faster charging speed.
Phone has been great for the last week of using it. It's becoming my most favorite phone I've ever owned. I would recommend it to anyone really as it cover pretty much all use cases.
