[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been waiting for this phone for YEARS. I was tempted by previous Folds for a long time, and I've always talked myself out of buying one because I knew it wasn't quite what I wanted (man the Fold 7 was tempting, though!!) and I'm so glad I chose to wait because this phone is nearly perfect, in my opinion. The smaller, squarer shape when it's closed is both adorable and super modern looking, and when it's open the wider aspect ratio truly feels like having a small tablet in your pocket at all times. The only things I would want in a second generation are an under-display fingerprint scanner, under-display interior selfie camera (like previous Folds), anti-glare coating on the cover display, quad speaker array so you get proper stereo sound when in tablet mode, and lastly Qi2 magnets so I don't need a case or adapter ring. The first three are such minor gripes, but I think they'd be great additions to an already amazing device.

Easy switch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Fold 8 to replace my Fold 5. Taking it out of the box was WOW. I started the switch and it took over and everything was switched over all by itself once I matched both phones. The ease of switching all apps and photos was nice and easy. Just open the box this morning and by 11am everything was switched and working. No issues day 1 of use

Finally THE Fold is Here!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After careful consideration and reading/watching countless early reviews, I chose to pre-order the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 to replace my S25 Ultra. The main draw for me was the passport form factor, and the option to unfold and have a mini-cinema in my hands totally won me over. The weight, the shape, the feel in the hand, and the solid build quality have completely won me over! I don't remember the last time I was this excited about a new phone, but the Fold8 is a game changer for me!

Best Upgrade From Z Flip

I chose the Samsung Galaxy Fold 8 because of the inner screen's aspect ratio is great compared to the Fold 8 Ultra, and the outside / cover screen is not too long like the other foldables. Compared to the Z Flip, the cover screen is a lot more usable while still not too big. If you area Z Flip owner wish you have a more functional cover screen, this is your answer.

Game changing form factor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a Samsung fan and have been using their phones for years. I recently went from the Z Flip 7 to the Z Fold 8. I chose this model because I believe it sits perfectly between the Flip and Ultra versions. Having a mini tablet in my pocket is outstanding for media consumption. Listening to Spotify has been wonderful. The speakers have exceeded my expectations. Cameras work well for my needs and I have zero complaints. Muscle memory in terms of operating this new passport style is the only learning curve. Amazing technology!!!
