[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owed ever flip since they were introduced. The Flip 7 was a huge improvement over the 6. This new passport size phone was intriguing. Sure a larger screen is nice to have. But keepingnit comfortable in the pocket has been the issue. I put my passport in my pocket when traveling and there never seems to be a problem. Would the same be true with a phone the size of a passport? I'm blown away. Being able to run three apps side by side at the same time is so useful. It's fast. It's snappy. It looks wonderful. No complaints.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knew right during the Samsung event that I was in love. I chose the Galaxy Z Fold 8 right off and pre-ordered it the same day. Of course I ordered pistachio since it was a limited color. As a former owner of the Z Fold 7, THIS is the device I've been waiting for. Great form factor, beautiful screen, excellent audio and the ultimate WOW factor. If you want to dip your toes in the foldables scene, this is the perfect phone to start with.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and so far I’m extremely impressed. One of the biggest improvements is how light and compact it feels for a foldable. It no longer feels like you’re carrying a bulky tablet in your pocket, while still giving you a large display whenever you need it.
The inner display is excellent—bright, smooth, and great for watching videos, browsing, reading, and multitasking. Performance is extremely fast and responsive, and battery life has been solid considering the size of the displays.
The only issues I’ve encountered have been minor software bugs. Some third-party apps occasionally have screen sizing or orientation issues when switching between the inner and outer displays. I’ve also noticed the icons occasionally glitch when transitioning between the two screens. These issues are intermittent and haven’t significantly affected my overall experience, but there is still some room for better software optimization.
Overall, the Fold 8 finally feels like a foldable that can comfortably be an everyday phone rather than just a cool piece of technology. It gives you the convenience of a regular phone with a small tablet available whenever you need it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade from the Z Fold 7 to the smaller Z Fold 8 and couldn't be happier. Always been a fan of smaller phones so the smaller fold made more sense.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Z Fold 8 is fantastic so far. Form factor reminds me of my old Blackberry and how easy it was to type with. Screen is amazing for all media! Cameras are better than expected coming from previous ultra and Note phones. Battery is impressive. Only gripes are the camera bump is big and unbalanced and have not found a case for it yet that is really comfortable to use. Mostly due to the razor thin bezels on the front screen. I'd choose this over any other phone on the market right now. Loving it so far!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone is just fantastic. The screen is awesome. The phone is lightweight. The phone is fast. It's just incredible. Stop reading this and go BUY ONE!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this phone for the fun passport style factor, I have always been a note, and fold fan and trifold owner, but this note 8 is my go to phone, it's awesome for videos and YouTube which I do daily.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had almost all Samsung foldable since Fold 3 and always felt they were great but little uncomfortable for every day use but continued to love a foldable from Samsung because once you are used to big screens it's hard to go back to regular slab phones. Fold 8 now is something that brings the features I always loved about a foldable in an easy to carry and a pocket able form factor. So thin and light. It's so exciting to have this phone and use it. Cover screen is becoming very useful and inside screen is like having 2 phones if you consider both landscape and portrait modes. I chose the Fold 8 because of this new and more usable form factor and it's been a while since I was excited about having a device like this. Camera is also great , not seeing any missing features for my use cases. I only hope that in future iterations they can bring back the S pen. Otherwise I fell in love with this phone and I would say Samsung had hit a home run with this one. Whether for productivity, watching videos, media all great on both screens actually and oh reading is a joy as well.
