[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The massive 8-inch main display is an absolute game-changer for working on the go. I chose the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra because I needed a powerhouse device that combines a tablet-sized workspace with an elite 200MP camera system. The photo clarity is incredible, multitasking is perfectly smooth, and the titanium frame feels exceptionally premium in hand.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose galaxy z fold 8 ultra because 1. Battery life. I had galaxy z flip 7 and I loved it but the battery didn't lasted long enough for me and I'm on my phone constantly and it will get so hot pretty often which made me nervous so i had to be off of it until it cooled down. 2. I purchased 1TB storage. I have a lot of pictures and videos and I really needed more space than 512GB. Now, I don't have to worry about using up all the spaces. 3. Dual apps usage at a time. I've always had an issue with going back and forth between apps. I know flip also has this ability but it was dividing top and bottom not side by side so I still struggled. Now I can do two things at once and be able to compare things very easily. I also long thr big screen for reading books and watching tv purposes. Overall, I love how thin and light it is and the cream color caught my eyes!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There have been several generations of Folds that were huge upgrades over the prior, and others that have been kinda "meh". This is the latter. Physically, it's the same device, it fits fine in my slim carbon case from the 7. I hope someday we can all stop with the "they 'fixed' the crease this year!"; there's a crease, just like the 7, maybe 10% less prominent, but you have to be looking for it to be bothered by it, just like with the 7. The thing that has changed however, is the folding mechanics; it just feels like a spring-loaded tank when opening! Stoked on that aspect, and it is an "upgrade" I'd say. The camera should be the same one that's in the S26, no questions asked, there's no way to justify not having the flagship camera on their flagship camera (the ultra at least). Also disappointed, not that they didnt bake in the s pen, but that they didnt at minimum bring back the digitizer, so that a pen could work if you carried it in a case (moto razr does this, in their 1st gen foldable and Sammy used to, it was great). Brightness was one reason I bought it for and can confirm it's a marked improvement outdoors so that's great. I love the color options and the green is very classy! I chose the 8 Ultra because of my love for the Fold line, and, while I cant say Im blown away, Ive also had every iteration so I'm kinda used to the features. The Fold 8 (non ultra) seems like a more interesting model this year, because of the different form factor, but it's too small for me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade from the Zfold 7 for the relatively minor improvements. Have not used it enough yet for a full review, but already confirmed it was the right decision for my needs for a single work/personal phone combo.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra feels like the first foldable that truly fits the way I use my phone. The brighter displays make everything look cleaner, the performance is noticeably snappier, and the durability upgrades give me more confidence carrying it around every day. It’s noticeably expensive but worth it, and the design tweaks aren’t dramatic, but it still stands out as one of Samsung’s strongest foldables yet. I chose it because the multitasking finally feels seamless, the inner screen’s almost invisible crease makes a huge difference, and the upgraded cameras let me leave my dedicated camera at home more often.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Fold 5 has held up well but I figured it was time for an upgrade. I looked at a few different options but I chose the Fold 8 Ultra. I can't believe this is real. Blew my expectations away. It's so light and the screen size is awesome. I find myself using the front screen more than I used to because the size is bigger. Camera is also pretty amazing. Best part is the trade-in value I got. Samsung keeps bringing me back with those amazing trade-in offers!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally purchased the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra as a gift for my wife. I thought she'd love the innovative design and cutting-edge technology. What I didn't expect was to fall completely in love with it myself.
The moment I held it, I was mesmerized. The stunning 6.3-inch cover display is perfect for quick tasks, but when you unfold it to reveal that gorgeous 7.6-inch inner screen, it's transformative. Multitasking becomes seamless—I can video call while taking notes, watch content while browsing, and work like I'm holding a tablet that fits in my pocket.
The camera system is phenomenal. The 50MP main sensor captures breathtaking detail, and the zoom capabilities are genuinely impressive. Whether it's family photos or professional-quality content, every shot is stunning.
The durability is outstanding. The Armor Glass and refined hinge technology make it feel like an investment that will last. Battery life easily carries me through a full day of heavy use, and the performance? Absolutely zero lag.
My wife didn't mind—she saw how obsessed I was. So we did the obvious thing: I bought her one too. Now we both experience the future of mobile technology daily.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra isn't just a phone; it's a game-changer that transforms how you work, create, and connect.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once again, I chose the flagship Galaxy phone because they have been great in the past - and my new Z Fold8 Ultra is no exception! Great phone and great experience. I use it all the time to stay in touch, to look things up, get directions, etc. It does it all!
