Even though the phones have the same form factor, I wanted to get the extra battery capacity and the additional screen upgrades. I use my phone for my business and personal activities. I have been a fold fan for years and look forward to Samsung continuing to push innovative ideas.

The Pinnacle Experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from the great Fold7. I chose the Fold8 Ultra because even though the upgrades seem small, they're quite meaningful! The bigger battery means I'm able to go at least a full day and a half without recharging. The screen's new anti-reflective coating and near-invisible crease significantly reduce distractions while viewing content. I love the huge inner screen for photo editing as a hobbyist photographer. The software experience is still unbeaten by any other foldable on the market; Samsung has nearly perfected it. And the new colors are bold yet understated. All in all, I love my new Fold8 Ultra!

Fold 8 ultra is a fantastic product

I've used several fold phones in the past and have already been VERY pleased with them. Well made, study, functional, a real joy to use.

The Fold 8 Ultra the solid choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Fold 8 Ultra for my first fold device. With Flex Titanium Layer, Armor Flex Hinge, and a reduced crease convinced me to finally jump on the fold bandwagon. The flex mode is a great feature that I implemented to all my apps. The camera's has a bump in the main sensor an 200 MP provides high-resolution photos which is a must. Another upgrade in the 50 MP Ultra-Wide sensor captures your low-light photos and makes them stand out. Plus this fold has a telephoto! With all this upgrades make the Fold 8 Ultra the solid choice.

A big upgrade is most ways

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compared to my Fold5, the Fold8 Ultra is blazing fast and buttery smooth. Even in the light performance mode! The thinness is astonishing too. That thinness comes with a few compromises: the phone can run hot, it wobbles like crazy on flat surfaces, and it no longer supports the S Pen. It's also wider, so you can't text with one hand easily. I think it's worth those compromises for the better performance, inner screen size, and battery life.

I would have like for the privacy display and all the cameras from the S26 ultra, and would also like for you to bring back s-pen capabilities on the z fold 9 ultra but will have to do with the upgrades that you have right now.
