[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the z fold 8 ultra simply because it was next in the fold lineup. The 7 was the best phone I had ever had the pleasure of carrying.
I am absolutely shocked with how much the improvement was moving to the 8 Ultra. Of all the upgrades the crease really blows me away. I don't understand how samsung does it. It is thinner. Crease is non-existent. It's as snappy as ever. The green color could not have been a better choice. Perfection.

First foldable phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As with the last 10+ years of my cellphones, I chose Samsung as my brand of choice. The Samsung Fold 8 Ultra is my first foldable phone. I'm impressed with it and feel that the 8 is "ready for prime time." If you need a bigger screen for work or play, the Samsung Fold 8 Ultra is probably the best choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra because I wanted a foldable that finally felt mature enough to replace my regular phone, and after living with it, I’m glad I did.
Right from the first day it felt premium in my hands: thin, light, and surprisingly easy to open and close. The hinge is smoother than what I’ve used before, and the crease on the big screen is so subtle now that I barely notice it anymore. When it’s folded it slips into my pocket without bulk, and when I unfold it I get that big, vibrant canvas that makes multitasking, reading, or watching videos genuinely enjoyable.
Performance has been rock solid. Everything runs fast and stays that way even when I’m juggling apps across the large display. The cameras have impressed me more than I expected from a foldable: the main shooter delivers sharp, detailed shots in most conditions, and the ultrawide is a clear step up. Battery life is the real pleasant surprise. I used to have to charge mid afternoon with previous Folds; this one comfortably gets me through a full day of mixed use with power left over.
Is it perfect? No. It’s still expensive, and a couple of the cameras and features leave a little room for improvement. But overall, this is the first time a book style foldable has felt truly polished and practical enough that I don’t miss my old slab phone. If you’re looking for a high end foldable that actually works as an everyday device, I’d happily recommend it.

Galaxy Z Fold Ultra 8 Is It Worth It.

I chose it because I wanted something that felt premium without being bulky, and it has exceeded my expectations. I love how light it is, and the display is awesome on both the front and inner screens. Opening it up feels great every time, and the thinner design makes it fit much better in my pocket.
It’s an amazing phone that looks and feels premium while still being comfortable to carry every day. Definitely worth every penny!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and once again, Samsung has impressed me. The design is extraordinary—elegant, refined, and premium. The reduced weight makes a noticeable difference in everyday use, especially for a foldable device. And the large screen is simply outstanding, providing an incredible experience for productivity, multitasking, browsing, entertainment, etc
My relationship with Samsung goes back a long way. I have been a loyal Samsung smartphone customer since the original Samsung Galaxy S. Since then, I have continued choosing the Galaxy brand, and almost every year, I trade in my current phone to upgrade to the newest model.
After so many generations of Galaxy devices, I believe Samsung should consider creating a special recognition, award or loyalty reward program for long-term customers like me who continuously invest in and support the brand. Customers who have remained loyal since the early Galaxy days and upgrade year after year are more than buyers—we are long-term supporters of the Samsung.
Congratulations to Samsung on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. The combination of its exceptional design, lighter weight, and impressive large display makes this one of my favorite Galaxy upgrades yet.

The best phone ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone meets all my expectations; I swapped my Z Fold 6 for the new Ultra Z Fold 8, and it’s a night-and-day difference—it’s faster, lighter, and no longer the "brick" my wife used to call it. Now, with a card-holding case, it’s about the same thickness as a standard phone; it doesn't feel like carrying a brick in my pocket.

Love the screen!

My previous experience with the folds (fold4) wasn't bad, however these upgrades are amazing and far exceeded my expectations. The new inner screen makes you giddy every time you use it. The hinge is perfect, if you like the feel of quality and durability this is the phone for you. It's perfect for multitasking, consuming your favorite shows more movies on a flight, or just having the wow factor. If you love to capture life's adventures the cameras that Samsung has put into this phone, will absolutely surprise you. Now back to the hinge, everytime you open or close it you get a wonderful feel of the quality and engineering put into it. I work outdoors daily for my occupation (not using a phone case I probably should) and have dropped it in dirt and the hinge still feels so crisp, doesn't feel gritty or anything. If you had doubts about durability, rest assured that this zfold is more than up to the task! I truly cannot ever see myself going back to a slab phone again.
My wife will also be making the switch to the new fold 8 as well! I will recommend this phone to anyone! It's just to versatile to pass up! No matter your what you need in a phone this one will cover all of your needs and then some!
