I've been using the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and it's easily the most impressive phone I've ever owned. Samsung really refined the foldable experience this year. The phone feels incredibly premium, the hinge is smooth, and the inner display is gorgeous with an almost invisible crease.
Performance is outstanding. Everything feels fast and fluid, from multitasking with multiple apps to gaming and everyday use. The large inner screen has completely changed how I use my phone—it's like carrying a small tablet in my pocket.
The battery easily lasts through my day, and the cameras take excellent photos and videos. Samsung's AI features are also genuinely useful instead of feeling like gimmicks.
The biggest downside is the price, but if you're looking for the best foldable Samsung has ever made, the Z Fold 8 Ultra is worth it. It feels like a true flagship that combines the power of a phone and a tablet into one sleek device.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants the ultimate Android experience.

Thinner and lighter than I thought it would be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was used to the heavier S21 Ultra, which i had used since it's release and the ZFold 8 Ultra is much lighter and thinner which is doing wonders for hand cramps. The camera bump is quite large, but is easy to get used to. The fold is barely noticeable and only if I'm looking for it. Looking forward to using this phone for years to come.

I use it for my mortgage brokerage its like have a full computer with me all the time, I am glade that I held out for the zfold8 ultra better battery brighter out doors,less reflective in the sun .
But I know when people see this in action they are so interested to see what it is and how it works great product great service also .

Z Fold 8 Ultra Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra coming from the Galaxy S26 Ultra, and the transition has been seamless. The Samsung ecosystem, including my Galaxy Watch 8 and Ray-Ban Meta glasses, paired without any friction.
The inner display delivers exactly what I expected. Reading manga in landscape mode is a completely different experience; full pages display with correct proportions, no black bars, no zooming or scrolling. It feels natural immediately.
Worth noting for anyone comparing the standard Fold 8 and the Ultra for media: rotating the Ultra to landscape adds nearly half an inch to the overall screen dimension from top to bottom, effectively matching the standard Fold 8 for media consumption. The media oriented advantage of the standard model largely disappears in landscape orientation, which is how most people watch video content anyway.
The outer display has its own charm; narrower than a traditional flagship but effective for quick interactions and daily tasks. The hinge feels solid and the crease becomes a non-issue during actual use.
Performance is flagship level across the board. Battery life needs slight adjustment in expectations; powering two displays means drain is somewhat higher than a traditional flagship of the same capacity, a reasonable tradeoff for what the device offers.
For anyone who consumes media, reads, or wants genuine tablet functionality without carrying two devices, the Fold 8 Ultra is the right choice.
