[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade from Z fold 7 because of the almost invisible crease, larger battery, upgraded processor and better hinge.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I debuting if I should get it or not, I will say once I had it once I played it it I was hooked. It's nice cause it compact and light.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was torn between the new niche Z Fold 8 and the Z Fold 8 Ultra. However, due to the fact that I'm coming from a Z Fold 6, the clear winner for me was the Z Fold 8 Ultra. I chose the Z Fold 8 Ultra specifically because of the greatest Improvement compared to my Z Fold 6 and the differences are astronomical . I previously decided that I wasn't going to upgrade until Samsung brought back a couple of the features that I loved on my Z Fold 6, including the S Pen compatibility and the hidden cut out camera on the main display. Unfortunately, like what you would assume happens to old phones happened to me, and my Fold 6 started giving very annoying issues around the time that the new Z Fold 8 was coming out. Decision made, time to upgrade, which one to pick , for me, the functionality of the Z Fold 8 ultra was necessary. Due to the fact that I'm often multitasking for work , and prefer to use my phone to take pictures on vacation and regularly use Snapchat, the camera and larger screen made the decision for me. Besides the fact that I'm already noticing how much more comfortable this phone is to use than my old 6 due to its larger overall size. The comfort really comes through with the weight and thinness of the phone when folded. It's truly amazing to see the improvements. Although I miss my s Pen that I'm constantly losing and now I have to deal with that cut out camera on the main screen . I guess I'll get used to it just like I did back when I had the Z Fold 4.
Sleek, Advanced and Light: Why I Chose the Samsung

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra because it delivers the perfect combination of premium design, advanced technology and everyday practicality. Despite offering the capabilities of both a smartphone and a compact tablet, it feels remarkably sleek, refined and lightweight.
Performance is another major reason I chose this phone. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor delivers fast, responsive performance for productivity, entertainment, multitasking and Galaxy AI features.
For someone who values a larger display, powerful multitasking, premium cameras and a sophisticated foldable design, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is an outstanding choice.
I chose the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra because it is sleek, advanced and light—without compromising performance, productivity or style.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra because I was already used to the folding form factor. When I received my device I was genuinely surprised and impressed by its larger main display and larger inner display. When I put my older Z Fold 3 next to it I noticed the device was larger in ways that were not flattering and smaller in ways that limited productivity.
The slightly, but noticeably, larger screen is really what surprised me the most. I was already expecting better overall performance as I skipped upgrading over the 6 and 7. But, as I keep mentioning, the larger display really does mimic a slab from my note 10+ days something I had come to miss but wouldn't trade off the massive innerscreen as I use this device as my main device for browsing websites.
Where the sometimes smaller is better comes in is when you compare the two devices in thickness. Now, I didn't really mind the thickness of the Fold 5 as it was very similar if not identical to my Fold 3. However, the new device is much slimmer which I would say oddly adds a premium feel to my Fold 8 Ultra.
The screens on the Fold 8 Ultra are very bright which is clear when I compare them to my old devices. The PPI also seems to be more dense even though I haven't looked at the specs to see if I'm just imagining this. Great quality all around. Ultimately I would recommend the upgrade if you're coming from a 5 to an 8. I cannot tell you to do so if you have a 6 or 7 because I have no experience with those devices.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Z Fold series for quite a while and have always really liked it, so I decided to buy the 8 Ultra now.
